In Love Me Again novel, Amara’s parents have a wonderful marriage. Her father believes it is because the elders in their society arranged their marriage. Such an excuse justifies Amara’s father’s forcing his daughter to marry Jay Chahar, a man whose heart belongs to someone else.
On the other hand, Jay also feels his parents force him to give up his loved one to marry Amara. At the same time, Jay also appears as a caring person, especially to Amara’s father. Jay’s caring demeanor wins Amara’s father’s heart and he makes Amara can’t say no to his requests.
However, any forced feelings never bring decent results, and Amara and Jay’s marriage in Love Me Again book is no exception. Jay’s “I’ve filed for divorce,” and “I want you to sign the papers and then pack your bags,” statements came suddenly when Amara was still head over heels for him.
Amara thought she did her father’s request. In addition, she was pregnant with her children when Jay left her. So, these things become challenging for Amara to overcome.
A couple of years later, Amara’s children have grown up, and she lives a comfortable life away from Jay (hopefully). However, Amara’s father suddenly phones her with a piece of shocking information about his aggressive cancer.
In Love Me Again, Amara’s father’s dying wish is to have her return to her home city. Amara agrees. Yet, she doesn’t want to meet Jay, a man who has caused her emotional wounds. Unbeknownst to her, Jay has been waiting for Amara beside her father’s bed. Amara meets him once again when she arrives at the place where her father lays his weak body.
Amara is not ready to forgive her father for forcing her into a disadvantageous relationship. She is also far from ready to forgive Jay, who has been inconsistent and ignorant towards her during their marriage.

Part 2: The Amazing Characters Of Love Me Again Book
Amara
Amara of Love Me Again is the second daughter in her family. She was only 22 when her father forced her to marry Jay Chahan, a man whom she knows is into somebody else. Having such an authoritative father forces Amara into bearing responsibilities that other girls with average parents don’t tend to experience.
She is lucky enough to gather support not only from her children but also from people in her circle who know her, such as Naveen. Soon, Amara will learn the importance of forgiveness. Life would show more kindness when she has learned these hard lessons.
Jay Chahan
At first, Jay Chahan’s only positive characteristic is his caring demeanor. However, he only cares about Amara’s father and his crush, Zara. His heart doesn’t belong to Amara. So, it explains why he appears cold, nonchalant, and ignorant when he is married to Amara.
Like Amara, Jay’s parents must have forced their wills on him with their classical notions of “parents know best”. Coupled with his caring demeanor toward elders, I guess Jay is also an obedient son like Amara. That’s why he doesn’t hit or become physical with Amara even when he feels nothing towards her.
Amara’s Children
Amara’s twins, Zian and Tej, are the firstborns in Amara’s little family. They are five when Arya, another one of Amara’s children, is only three years old. Amara works with Naveen, one of the most supportive people in her life, in raising her children. These little angels also feel pleased with their Uncle Naveen’s presence.
Tej possesses the sharpest mind among his siblings. He is also close to Aunt Sherry, another person in Amara’s circle. Meanwhile, Arya is the most enthusiastic child with a constant appetite for cookies.
Part 3: Some Impressions On Love Me Again Book
Love Me Again is one of the romance novels with the most detailed and close-to-real-world explanations of the place settings. For instance, London and Heathrow Airport are two places we can find in the real world. That’s why I love reading this part in one of the chapters.
Like any other romance novel, the main stories of Love Me Again should focus on the relationship dynamics between Amara and Jay, her husband. It should also explore the background reasons for their arranged marriage. Indeed, both elements have consistently appeared throughout the novel’s chapters, and I can see them.
However, Love Me Again is more than an arranged marriage novel with a male MC in love with someone else. Forgiveness also becomes a central theme in this novel. When pondering about forgiveness and a romance novel with a divorce element, we might think about a female MC trying to forgive her husband. It is also one of the things Amara tries to do to Jay.
Yet, she also learns to forgive her father by asserting her boundary and not letting her guards down around Jay. It might appear as Amara’s lesson. Yet, I see such an occurrence as a learning experience for Jay. I get the impression Jay is a man who believes parents are everything. Now that he has met up again with Amara through meeting her father in person, he would have the opportunity to see Amara’s father’s true face.
Indeed, Amara’s father in Love Me Again novel is one of the most doubtful characters. I don’t only doubt him for his so-called arranged marriage with his wife. His controlling tendencies have not only resulted in Amara’s sister running away from him. Perhaps, Amara’s father’s cancer is not that aggressive like what the doctor has said. He just fabricates the story to make Amara return to him.
Nonetheless, I feel Amara’s difficulty in forgiving her father (and Jay) is justifiable. I agree with the word “healing” to describe Amara’s journey, but allowing her father to step on her as much as he wants to is another thing.
Part 4: More Reasons To Read Love Me Again Novel
The story themes and elements richness in the Love Me Again novel will make you addicted to unlocking more chapters of this novel. The chapters’ lengthy word counts won’t make you yawn; instead, you will wonder what would happen to Amara, how she would manage her feelings, and other aspects, as you flip the pages to read more chapters.
Most arranged marriage novels will only talk about the MCs’ divorces, one of the MCs (usually the male MC) in love with someone else, the parents’ discussions, and others. However, Love Me Again is unique, because it focuses on the “here-and-now” life of Amara and Jay. There has not been much involvement from both MCs’ parents since the first days of their marriage.
Jay’s seemingly obedient and caring natures to the elderly are some other intriguing things you can explore by reading the Love Me Again book. Most other male MCs “value their friendships and families”. However, this is my first time reading how much a male MC loves his parents (and other elders).
