Mine by Ksdm tells us that, on one fateful day, she ran away from her pack, the Red River Pack when she was only a month away from turning eighteen because she didn’t want to get married to the Alpha’s son, Adam, who was prospected to be the heir Alpha after his father stepped down.

Adam had made it clear to Caydence that as soon as she was eighteen years, she would be his mate, and quit school to be a full-time Luna which was equivalent to being a housewife in the human world. He always wondered why she always bothered with school.

” As soon as you turn eighteen, you will be Mine,” he told her clearly on the very day that she disappeared from her pack.

Caydence didn’t like Adam Prince because he was an arrogant playboy who had even been accused of sexual abuse, and the fact that he said that she would surrender her entire existence to being his Luna, made her feel dread, so she ran away from her pack. It was in this runaway journey of hers that she met her destined mate, Dante Rivers.

Part 1: Main Story Of Mine

Mine tells the story of Caydence Adams, a young she-wolf, who at the beginning of the book, had not completely formed as a full-blown werewolf. A month before her eighteenth birthday, unlike other wolves who would be happy to become an adult, fully form into their wolf, and meet their mate, Caydence was not looking forward to the day.

From the onset, she had been told that as soon as she became an adult and had fully developed as a wolf, she would be mated with Adam Prince, the prospective heir of the Red River Pack. Since Caydence’s father was a Beta wolf, it was imagined that she would make the best Luna for Adam, as she had Beta blood flowing in her. Caydence didn’t like this, and she didn’t want this.

As much as Caydence was not interested in becoming the Luna of her pack because she didn’t like Adam for various reasons, her father, the Beta of the pack thought that it was the best thing she would have ever finally done for him, given that her birth brought him sorrow as her mother, his mate died while giving birth to her.

He was waiting anxiously for the day Caydence would turn eighteen and become the pack’s Luna because Adam’s father, the current Alpha of the Red River Pack had promised to step down as soon as his son, Adam had a mate and gave birth to other heirs following him.

Adam had also made it clear to Caydence that as soon as she was of age, they would be mates and that she would abandon her world to be his Luna full-time. ”I don’t know why you are bothering, Caydence, you turn eighteen in a month, and then you are all mine,” Adams had told Caydence on one occasion.

What he meant by the statement was that there would be no more school, no more social life, and not even a close friend would have access to Caydence.

As a result of this, Caydence disappeared from her pack without telling anyone of her plans, not even her close friends. She had planned her escape carefully and left trails that would only mislead anyone who cared to look for her after she ran away.

She ran to a town called North Bend, in Washington, and changed her name to Harper Reynolds, where she started to work as a waitress in a diner. She planned to continue her escape farther into Newyork as soon as she made enough money from working in the diner. This was where she found her mate, Dante Rivers.

Mine Caydence And Dante

Dante Rivers was the Alpha of the New Moon Pack and had been without a mate because he had not just found any yet even though he had been intimate with quite a several she-wolves. He longed for a mate, and as soon as he met with Caydence, who was working at a diner in his territory, his wolf became restless. He had found her, he had found his mate.

Mine by Ksdm is an attractive werewolf book that reveals the dynamics of the werewolf world and depicts the hierarchy of a typical werewolf pack. It also portrays the extent these packs could go in a bid to protect their beliefs as seen at the point where Adam had warned Cydence of her total service to the pack as soon as she became his Luna.

Part 2: Main Characters Of Mine

Caydence Adams

Mine Caydence Adams

Caydence Adams, the lead female she-wolf and Luna of the New Moon Pack, had long and bright auburn hair. She was slim and was five feet and ten inches tall. She was a regular female without a mother, and her father subtly disliked her as he felt that her existence brought him misery.

Her father was the Beta of the Red River Pack, where she was born into. She was not yet an adult at the time and would be one in a month, which bothered her because of the expectations the pack and her father had of her when she turned into an adult. She met her mate, Dante Rivers, after she ran to another town, far away from home, and became the Luna of the New Moon Pack.

Dante Rivers

Mine Dante Rivers

Dante Rivers, with hazel eyes, a chiseled frame, and an athletic body, is the Alpha of the New Moon Pack, and Caydence Adams’ destined mate. He had become the Alpha of his pack as soon as he turned eighteen years, and for three years he had not had a mate, thereby making his Pack without a Luna.

Dante had longed for his mate, dreaming of the day he would have the same sort of love relationship that his father, the former Alpha of the New Moon Pack, and his mother, the former Luna had.

The absence of a mate in his life drove him and his wolf crazy until he found Caydence Adam at the diner. His wolf, Dominic, couldn’t keep still when he met Caydence and growled the word Mine as soon as he was sure that she was his mate.
