Apparently, Rose is an average teenage girl, who’s interested in parties and boys. Secretly though, she’s only interested in one man and that’s her stepdad, Joseph.
Her daddy, as she calls him, adopted her when her parents suddenly died in a terrible accident. Joseph was her father’s friend so naturally he took her under his wing. He was younger than her parent though and he too felt an undeniable attraction towards Rose.
Joseph patiently waited for Rose to turn a decent age so he could finally unleash his passion and quench his thirst for her body. He was already aware that his stepdaughter wanted him as well, but he pretended to ignore her signals.
Now, that her birthday was coming up, Joseph decided it’s time he made his move. He planned a romantic trip to Hawaii, in a secluded place where no one knew the liaison between them and they could freely give in to their desires.
Everything happened naturally as both Joseph and Rose were more than willing to savor each other’s bodies. The girl quickly became addicted to her step dad as he kept loving her day and night.
Well, truth be told, Joseph never expected to become so attached to Rose. In the beginning, he only wanted to keep her by his side until she turned eighteen so he could get in possession of the assets that her father had left her.

All My Step Daddy Rose knows about her past is that her parents died and her father’s best friend took on the job to raise her. She was happy, thus she never questioned Joseph’s choice to take her in his care.
Maybe it was the fact that she found comfort in Joseph’s arms throughout the years or maybe it was simply the Oedipus complex, but Rose undeniably felt a magnetic pull towards her stepdad. Of course, society would frown upon such an illicit relationship, but the girl never truly cared about what people think, she needed Joseph in her life, and not just as her step-parent.
She wanted to consume her love for him and she wanted her passion to consume her whole, thus she never hesitated to send signals to prove her interest in Joseph.
If things appear to be simple in the beginning of the novel, with her and her stepdad confessing their feelings to each other and even consuming their love from the first chapters, things get complicated as the story unfolds.
Rose’s parents never died in a car accident, they were fatally shot by her uncle who was jealous of their wealth. The reason why she ended up in Joseph’s care was that her own family was too afraid to take her in considering her parent’s enemies. They would have rather taken her to an orphanage than risk their lives.
Joseph seemed to have taken a selfless decision when taking Rose in his home but he had his hidden agenda. He wanted the girl’s fortune at all costs, but in order for that to happen, he had to raise her until her eighteenth birthday so she could take possession of her wealth.
Rose’s stepdaddy seemed to be a concerned protector in the beginning, a man looking out for his best friend’s daughter but he soon reveals his true colors by admitting that he wanted her money. His vicious plans are overthrown though when he falls in love with Rose, becoming addicted to her presence in his life.
He is usually rough and selfish when it comes to relationships, but with Rose he learns to be gentle and he puts her above everything and everyone, including himself. Joseph is aware that his attachment to Rose is more than plain love, it’s obsession, yet he dives head on into this relationship without any certainty about their future together.
He uses intimacy as a way to persuade Rose into agreeing with his demands, offering painful, but seductive punishment when she is reluctant into fulfilling his wishes.
Part 3: Evaluation Of My Step Daddy Novel
I have to confess that My Step Daddy novel gave me some mixed feelings. The entire idea of coupling a stepdad and a stepdaughter kind of threw me off a bit, but once I managed to focus on baby dada-baby momma nicknames rather than daddy-baby tags, everything kind of fell into place.
The connection between Rose and Joseph is undeniable and I appreciate the fact that the author doesn’t focus on their family relationship but on their lust and adult relationship.
Setting aside the hard-core erotica, there’s also some interesting dark subplots which give a mysterious vibe to the novel. It seems that the relationship between Rose and Joseph isn’t as simple as the latter wants it to be since his dreadful secrets threaten to shatter his life with Rose.
Don’t worry though, as the author has written a second novel revolving Rose and Joseph, displaying the aftermath of having the truths finally revealed.
