Running To Feel Safe: Reviews Of “The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate”

Heather Bedasse, the female MC of The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate, has been a joke for her pack and other werewolf packs. It happens because she is weak.

Her encounters with Alpha Daniel from the Galaxy pack only traumatize her even further to the point of running away. Soon, her ex-Alpha found her in her new runaway spot.

What about an alternative novel? The title is “Running From My Cursed Lycan Prince,”

Part 1: The Main Story Of The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate

The Runaway Mommy's Alpha Mate Novel

The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate tells stories about Heather Bedasse’s life and her relationships with Alpha Daniel from the Galaxy pack. Heather is from the Silvermoon pack, and she is the physically weakest among all werewolves.

She is no match for Irene and Anna, two daughters of the pack’s warrior. Heather also never competes in swimming competitions due to her physically weak condition. Back then, these two female bullies and other pack members always rejoice in her miserable life.

The Alpha of the Silvermoon pack could expel her and her family members as soon as the Alpha wanted to. Only Heidi, Heather’s wolf, is supportive of her. Plus, Heather’s only power lies in her Mental Interference ability. Yet, nobody cares about it.

Heather was on the verge of death when Irene and Anna drowned her in the pool because she couldn’t save herself with her Mental Interference ability. However, the ability still exists, which makes her recognize her mate and savior of her life. Later, in The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate, Heather’s mate’s identity turns out to be Alpha Daniel.

Alpha Daniel is ashamed of Heather’s fragile physique. So, he decides to keep his mating status secret from the public. At the same time, Heather never develops her physical ability, which triggers Daniel to cheat on Kasey, the Silvermoon pack’s Alpha’s daughter. Heather was pregnant when Daniel was engaged to Kasey.

Knowing that she’s powerless against Daniel, Heather runs away around 300 miles from the Silvermoon pack to the Blue Mountain pack. Five years later, Jeremi, Heather’s son, has shifted. Daniel, the missing father, is also on his way to meet Heather and her son.

Will Heather resist Daniel, knowing he has betrayed her trust in the past? Or, will she give him another chance?

Part 2: Meet The Characters Of The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate Novel

Heather Bedasse

The Runaway Mommy's Alpha Mate Heather

Being the physically weakest wolf in the Silvermoon pack makes Heather subject to bullies. Even the Alpha never wants her in the pack. In The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate, Heather’s most prominent ability lies in her mental power. The author refers to her power as “Mental Interference”.

Her mental power lets her connect with her mate and empathize with Jeremi, her talented son. I think the author can give more portions of Heather’s mental power. That way, the author doesn’t only highlight Heather’s physically inferior conditions.

Alpha Daniel

The Runaway Mommy's Alpha Mate Daniel

Alpha Daniel of The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate is tall, muscular, and has a defined face shape. He also possesses several stereotypical Alpha traits, such as being cruel, showing no mercy, and domineering his mate. All the girls swoon over Alpha Daniel, including Heather’s two bullies in the novel’s prologue part.

Alpha Daniel is notorious for his reputation for snapping another Alpha’s neck and banishing his first mate. He is a power-hungry man, which makes him avoid Heather and agree with the Silvermoon Alpha’s decision to get engaged with Kinsey, the Silvermoon Alpha’s daughter.

Jeremi

The Runaway Mommy's Alpha Mate Jeremi

I think Jeremi is one of the strongest characters in The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate novel. He can shift even though he’s only five years old. Jeremi’s shifts and his agile movements in rescuing his mother are some of the most amazing moments I’ve ever witnessed in werewolf romance novels.

Anyway, you can start seeing Jeremi’s debut appearance in The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate Chapter 4. I also love the ways he surprises his grandmother. I’m not surprised if Jeremi would be one of the most well-developed characters.

Part 3: An Impression Of The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate

The Runaway Mommy's Alpha Mate Novel Review

I love how Fanny Brook pictures the runaway processes and the feelings involved during the runaways in The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate novel. I’ve read tons of other werewolf romance novels with a highly identical storyline: Breaking up with a mate, running away, and the pattern seems to finish right there, even though the episodes might still be ongoing.

One of the most interesting parts about the runaway processes Heather does is a part that tells stories about the Blue Mountain pack as her runaway destination. It is “only around 300 miles from the Silvermoon pack”. For me, it is a detailed way to describe the destination. Also, in this novel, she reunites with Aunt Carolyn, her protector since she was a child.

Aunt Carolyn is also an interesting character to me. She might only be an auntie. However, she possesses the same degree of wisdom as old women characters. Aunt Carolyn’s ability to create entertaining and inspiring stories is also one of the most admirable elements I read in The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate.

Heather’s ability also belongs to one of the most unique parts of this novel. Mental Interference is not your typical werewolf’s mind-linking ability. Instead, it is a unique ability to get inside a werewolf’s mind and speak to them inside their mind. She might say Jeremi looks like his father. Yet, Jeremi also possesses the same ability as his mother.

Anyway, running away from a much more physically powerful male werewolf is one of the themes you can find. One of them is Running From My Cursed Lycan Prince.

Part 4: Alternative To The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate

Alternative to The Runaway Mommy's Alpha Mate

The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate is one of the novels with rich story elements. Here, we don’t only see runaway as the central theme. After all, other themes are present in this marvelously written novel, such as an arranged marriage, sexual acts of violence, and being weak (but strong in other life aspects).

Running From My Cursed Lycan Prince is your choice when you think of a more intense novel than The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate. If you noticed the male MCs in these two novels, you would notice both are physically strong guys. Remember, they are Alphas and Lycans—two creatures who greatly despise weaklings.

In Running From My Cursed Lycan Prince, Isabella White might be the Lycan Prince’s chosen mate, and Luna is in an arranged marriage between the Lycan and Isabella’s fathers. Too bad, Isabella is wolfless. It makes the Lycan ignore her for three years and only uses her for his benefit until she runs away.

I would say Running From My Cursed Lycan Prince has identical scenes to the ones you’ve seen in The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate. Furthermore, the word count per chapter is not so intimidating when you compare it with The Runaway Mommy’s Alpha Mate. I guess you will love this alternate novel!
