A she-wolf’s 18th birthday celebration means celebrating her capability of finding her wolf and mate. Any she-wolves would rejoice in the thoughts of their mates.
It doesn’t apply to Octavia “Avi” Lennox, though. She loves her independent life with her male and female best friends. Avi would never expect to meet the Timber Alpha!
How powerful is a Timber Alpha? How does the Alpha behave around Avi as his mate?

Part 1: The Awesome Main Story Of Timber Alpha Novel
Octavia “Avi” Lennox lives happily with her male and female best friends. Each individual has childhood pet names and “secret codes” only their circle can understand. They rarely call each other by their full name unless they sense something “dangerous” in front of them.
The first few introductory chapters of Timber Alpha book are about Avi’s 18th birthday celebration. Any she-wolves would feel happy when they reach 18 years old. It’s not only an age of independence, but it also marks their pride in getting a mate. Echo and some of Avi’s best friends have already smelled her mate.
Yet, the thought of a mate seems to unsettle Avi. After all, not all werewolves are willing to mate with an Alpha’s daughter and the big sister-type of a girl like her. Even if Avi is confident enough to meet her mate, she loves her independence and friends even more than thinking about a mate who comes to rescue her from her mundane life.
Avi has to dress up and go to a formal dinner session with her best friends. These two things are things Avi never did before her birthday. So, Avi can only feel nervous and awkward. Gamma Farah’s squeals of a mysterious individual with “Timber Alpha” as his identity doesn’t help Avi.
Avi still needs to test the mysterious-looking “Timber Alpha”. She wants to be sure of this Alpha’s capability as her mate. His minty scent doesn’t faze Avi. Furthermore, this Alpha seems to be a man of few words, which means Avi has to dig deeper into his personality to determine if she would accept or reject this man.
How will Avi unveil the Timber Alpha’s identity? How powerful or protective is he as Avi’s mate? Why does he decide to travel alone in approaching Avi?
Part 2: Meet The Characters Of Timber Alpha Novel
Octavia “Avi” Lennox
Octavia “Avi” Lennox of Timber Alpha novel is the current Alpha’s daughter. Avi lives with Theo, her younger brother, in the same pack’s house, which makes her the oldest daughter. As the oldest daughter, Avi has developed a sense of independence from an early age.
Being able to make challenging decisions is one of the traits Avi prizes. I see her as an individual who thinks through things carefully before acting. We witness this part of Avi’s characteristics when she meets up with the mysterious-looking Timber Alpha. So, I’m sure Avi is not an easy target for the Alpha!
Farah And Rowan
Farah and Rowan are Avi’s best friends in Timber Alpha. Avi calls Rowan “Ro”, except when she blurts out due to some “dangerous” or awkward situations. As Avi’s Beta, Rowan frequently sits together with her and talks about constellations. Even though Avi doesn’t always understand what Rowan says, she considers him as one of her most loyal friends.
Meanwhile, Farah is the Gamma’s little sister in Avi’s circle. Her super-close age gap to Avi means both girls can handle each other’s discussion topics. She is the most bubbly and excited person in Avi’s circle, and her jokes enliven the novel’s stories.
Part 3: Some More Thorough Analysis Of Timber Alpha Novel
An 18th birthday celebration, the ability to smell a wolf, and an Alpha mate: Any readers will immediately associate these three scenes with kissing, hugging, or any other loving acts from the two MCs. Even when the female MC is the Alpha’s daughter, such a theme will lead to her weakened emotional state around her mate.
Sure, I also see some “weakened” parts in Avi when I read some chapters of Timber Alpha. However, she doesn’t show her vulnerability to Timber Alpha, who should be her mate. Instead, Avi only speaks in a submissive tone to play with her male best friends without the intent to flirt.
Friendship is one of the most evident values I witness in Timber Alpha novel. It is also another thing that Avi values, apart from her independence. I usually see the romantic gestures as the highlights of similar novels. Yet, this novel is different with its huge portions of friendship-related activities and scenes.
People who value their friendship are always irreplaceable in other people’s lives. After all, a person can break up with his/her exes and never reunite, but there are no such things as “ex-friends”. As the Alpha’s daughter and the first-born child in her family, Avi isn’t only aware of her basic responsibilities to appear at the pack’s ceremony. Instead, she also knows the value of her circles.
Therefore, Avi’s independence and determination she shows through the chapters in Timber Alpha novel are unique to other Alpha’s daughters. She doesn’t show excessive love for powers, and she doesn’t need to appear commanding to her peers, either. Avi is simply a reliable girl who becomes the future Alpha because of her role model-like personality.
“Timber Alpha” is yet another highlight I see in this werewolf novel. All we know about this mysterious-looking Alpha is that he is Avi’s mate. My analysis says he must be a powerful Alpha from another pack. Yet, is he protective or not? Will he be a person who values friendships like Avi does? Or, is he an individualistic person? Only time will answer.
Part 4: A Similar Novel To Timber Alpha
“Timber Alpha” sounds like a powerful Alpha male werewolf finds his mate. The Alpha’s unquestionable physical strengths get even more highlights on the book cover. Avi’s status as the Alpha’s daughter also intensifies the power and mystery lurking in this seemingly friendship-focused and “innocent” romance novel (hopefully).
The “timber” word refers to trees for building houses or carpentry works. For werewolf characters, such a theme means a brute physical force or a respectable male werewolf in his community. So, what if the “Timber” word refers to the werewolf’s pack? What if you could read a novel where the Alpha male werewolf is not a mystery to the female MC from the start?
Well, there is “My Little Snowflake”! If you seek the “Timber” word in this novel, you will find it in Alan Timber, the Alpha of the Timber pack. His evil and deep-sounding voice, power in grabbing Iris (the female MC) by the arm, and constant pounding on the door where Iris stays are three characteristics that align with the “timber” word’s respectable (more like feared) positions in the werewolf world.
Iris has experienced loneliness since she was six. Upon meeting the “Timber” which means Alan and his underlings, Iris should learn to be functional to these male werewolves. This pretty little pup will have her steamy portions of appearances in My Little Snowflake!
