Chapter 9 of The Alpha King’s Human Mate novel focuses on the Bellevues’ encounters in the Lupine Castle in Canada. The Bellevues are originally from Washington. Even though Washington state has its winter season, the winters in Washington are nothing compared to the Canadian’s icy-cold climate.
That’s why Clark felt the freezing sensation on her feet when she was a few steps away from the black SUV car in front of the airport’s entrance door that would transport her and her siblings to Lupine Castle. The castle itself is where Griffin Bardot, the soon-to-be Alpha King, resides. It takes two hours of driving from the airport to arrive at the castle.
The castle’s appearances in The Alpha King’s Human Mate Chapter 9 give an impression of an extremely busy and focused King. More precisely, the castle’s all-white foundation stones, the stained-glass windows, the surrounding evergreen forest trees, and the mountaintop part that becomes the castle’s additional foundations, give an impression of a luxurious, exclusive, and secluded place that reminds people of classic Fairytales.

Clark and the Bellevues
As one of the MCs in The Alpha King’s Human Mate, Clark’s appearance portions remain the most domineering among the Bellevues and other characters in Chapter 9. After all, she is the only human among her siblings, and this chapter emphasizes it once again through Esther’s statements.
The rest of the Bellevues, Sebastian “Seb” and Lily Bellevue, might remain as the Alpha King’s stepping stone. Yet, they are more observant and knowledgeable of their surroundings than Clark. Other Bellevues talk most with the guards and the driver, which helps Clark to build more insights about the Lupine Castle.
Esther and the Guard
The unnamed security guard is the first person whom the SUV car driver and the Bellevues must pass through before the Bellevues can enter the inner parts of the Lupine Castle. In Chapter 9 of The Alpha King’s Human Mate, the security guard’s purpose seems to collect the passengers’ and visitors’ data to report to the Alpha King and other security guard members.
Meanwhile, Esther is the middle-aged woman who guards the Southern Gate, which the Bellevues reach after 20 minutes of walking around the castle. Esther’s confidence and dignified posture remain despite her quite old age, and she also seems like a wise and knowledgeable woman throughout Chapter 9 of The Alpha King’s Human Mate.

All Alpha King’s palaces are majestic and can produce awe feels when mere commoners like the Bellevues step on their feet. The Lupine Castle in The Alpha King’s Human Mate Chapter 9 is no exception.
The secluded feel of the surrounding evergreen forest, the mountaintop background, and the all-white stony foundations are things that give me an impression of “no entrance” to outsiders unless the King has requested their attendance.
The Lupine Castle’s security guards are not only massive in terms of their physical amounts. When I read Chapter 9 of The Alpha King’s Human Mate, I can also see the guards working well together, from the outer to the inner guards. Each guard has different tasks and responsibilities, just like the front entrance security guard and Esther.
The first few paragraphs of The Alpha King’s Human Mate Chapter 9 mention the King’s apparent disinterest in retiring from his career. When I look at how the King manages the castle and assigns the tasks to the security guards, I feel the business acumen the King possesses, and how considerate he is in spending his budgets.
Griffin Bardot, the soon-to-be Alpha King in The Alpha King’s Human Mate, appears more reserved in Chapter 9. After all, the characters only mention briefly about him in this chapter. He doesn’t make any appearances until the end parts of this chapter, which makes me wonder what actions will this future Alpha King execute next.
Still, I feel The Alpha King’s Human Mate Chapter 9 puts more emphasis on the story’s objects, such as the Lupine Castle, things around the castle, and the methods the Alpha King uses to manage the castle’s structures. Yet, these things give the impression of Griffin’s characteristic as a lawful or orderly future Alpha King.
Part 4: Read A Similar Novel To The Alpha King’s Human Mate Chapter 9
The Alpha King’s castle is the primary object in The Alpha King’s Human Mate Chapter 9. It also becomes the primary focus in telling stories about the King’s honorable reputation and the ferocious ways of managing the castle’s structures and creating a system to protect the castle from uninvited beings.
Any acts defying the laws and systems the Alpha King has created and established will result in the characters’ inability to move forward. Even though the Bellevues don’t get such a horrible punishment in The Alpha King’s Human Mate Chapter 9, they allocate 20 minutes to navigate to the castle’s other door. I am confident they could use the same duration to explore at least three different areas around the Blacktooth pack.
