Two Ambitious Alphas: “She’s The Luna I Want” Novel Review

Ambitious, fiery, and doesn’t hesitate to break unsuitable rules: Those three characteristics are the traits we find in all Alphas, including Alpha she-wolves. That’s what happens in She’s The Luna I Want.

So, what if Alpha Jace Galhart’s Goddess-given mate is also an Alpha? Here, we enter the story of Amara, another Alpha she-wolf, with her rebellious and seductive nature.

The steaminess between these two powerful Alphas makes this novel’s stories irresistible!

Part 1: The Main Story Of She’s The Luna I Want Novel

She's The Luna I Want Novel

Jackson “Jace” Galhart and Amara Grace Mikaelson have formed a special bond with each other since they haven’t reached adolescence. Jace doesn’t only become the soon-to-be Alpha of the Black Shadow pack, who replaces his Alpha father. Instead, he is also a proud warrior and mentor of the Shadow Academy.

The Shadow Academy also holds particular importance in She’s The Luna I Want novel. After all, Jace’s mother is the mastermind behind this academy, where Jace and Amara first met. Several years have passed, and Amara befriends Jace’s younger sister. Meanwhile, Jace is nowhere to be seen.

The forest is where Amara and Jace meet after several years of separation. More precisely, it has happened since Chapter 1 of this novel. This chapter of She’s The Luna I Want shows us the first time in Jace’s life to see Amara looking frightened as if she faced something beyond her control.

As someone who has known Amara for a long time, Jace knows this Alpha Lady always inspires other Academy students with her fearless attitude. His love for Amara makes Jace sympathize with her. Further chapters in She’s The Luna I Want show Amara reacting that way because she is shifting.

Amara was 16 when she shifted for the first time. So, as an older mate, Jace guides Amara by undoing her dresses to loosen her movements. He starts by ripping her bottoms and struggles to kiss her. Then, both parties’ wolves dance wildly as they lose themselves in the wonderful and steamy scenes.

How steamy will the dances between Amara, Jace, and their wolves be through the stories in She’s The Luna I Want? How about their efforts in keeping up with each other’s flames of passion?

Part 2: The Main Characters Of She’s The Luna I Want Novel

Amara Grace Mikaelson

She's The Luna I Want Amara

Amara Grace Mikaelson’s alternative name in She’s The Luna I Want is Lady Amara because that’s what she is. She is the Firstborn Alpha of the Blood Moon pack and the only daughter of Alpha Aeon and Luna Alexa.

Such a status justifies her pride, determination, ambition, seduction power, and fearless attitude. Indeed, Amara doesn’t only shift faster than average she-wolves; she can also run an hour non-stop with incredible speed.

Amara formed a special bond with Jace twelve years ago when she was one of the students in Jace’s Shadow Academy. Since then, Amara has grown distaste for girls who are head over heels for Jace. Amara doesn’t only befriend (and eventually, mate with) Jace, but she also befriends Catherine, Jace’s little sister.

Jackson “Jace” Galhart

She's The Luna I Want Jace

Jackson “Jace” Galhart might be 18 years old at the beginning of She’s The Luna I Want. However, he appears more mature than Amara, mainly because he shifts at around 14-15 years old. The first chapter of She’s The Luna I Want suggests Jace will replace Alpha Jacob Galhart, his father, soon, in the Black Shadow pack.

Jace doesn’t only possess typical Alpha characteristics, such as ambition, being determined, and passion. He is also proud of his father, and he shows it in his POV in the early chapters of this novel. His involvement as one of the most influential mentors in the Shadow Academy also becomes a worthy thing to note about his contributions.

At first, Jace is like Amara’s brother figure, for Amara is of the same age as Catherine, his little sister. As the story progresses, Jace becomes even more protective of this Firstborn Alpha Lady; yet, this time, he realizes Amara is his mate.

Part 3: Some Impressions About She’s The Luna I Want

She's The Luna I Want Free Novel

Presenting two Alphas as the MCs is one of the most delightful things that I find in She’s The Luna I Want novel. It accentuates people’s beliefs in people’s attraction to the same frequency and vibration as them.

I’ve tended to read werewolf romance stories with only the male MCs as the Alpha, while the female MC is usually an Omega or even a human. Such dynamics create power struggles that trigger readers’ impatience in determining when they will finish the novel. I don’t see the same thing happening for Amara and Jace in She’s The Luna I Want.

Both Alphas use their maximum seductive powers to woo each other. It elevates the spiciness presented in each chapter of She’s The Luna I Want. The backstories that the author presents also represent the powerful bonds both MCs established since their childhood. The bonds are beyond God-like that both Alphas dare to break the “common” rules.

Jace and Amara of She’s The Luna I Want possess unique characteristics that readers can only find in this wonderfully written novel. For instance, Amara is the Firstborn Alpha she-wolf in her pack. On the other hand, Jace’s mother is the founding mother of the Shadow Academy. It makes Jace not remain as the soon-to-be Alpha of the Black Shadow pack. Instead, Jace is also one of the most inspiring Academy mentors.

Jace and Amara’s love story might have some forbidden elements attached to it due to Amara’s former status as one of Jace’s pupils. Yet, the ripping, running, and bedroom parts, are some parts that make Jace and Amara’s stories in She’s The Luna I Want novel too steamy to miss.

Many readers comment the chapters of She’s The Luna I Want are getting better, and I agree with them!

Part 4: An Alternative Novel To She’s The Luna I Want

Alternative To She's The Luna I Want

An angry face, insults (sometimes, in the name of a witty banter), a determination to catch the mate and protect her no matter what it takes, and breaking a set of non-sense rules: Those things are the hallmarks of all relationships involving an Alpha. Two Alphas in the same relationship dynamic would mean more intense “red” vibes in their relationships.

Jace and Amara’s relationship dynamics in She’s The Luna I Want are some of the proofs. Neither party backs off, as they use their physical appeals to attract the other parties, and they enjoy every moment they contribute. The intensity they project in She’s The Luna I Want makes me think if there were any alternative novels with similar relationship dynamics in the storyline.

So, I stumbled upon The Female Alpha novel, and found these statements about Champagne, the Alpha she-wolf and the female MC of this novel: “Her fur is as white as snow, revenge is what she seeks, on the night of the third Blood Moon,”

Speaking about the Blood Moon, isn’t it similar to Amara’s pack’s name in She’s The Luna I Want? Anyway, Champagne’s mate isn’t just any other Alpha male werewolves, for he is the powerful and majestic Alpha King, who doesn’t hesitate in punishing weaker werewolves for his pleasure.
