The stories of The Delta’s Daughter book revolve around Lamia Langley, the 15-year-old daughter of Marcus Langley, the Delta of the royalty’s New Moon pack.

Since she is a royal, black-furred she-wolf, it’s not surprising that she can have an on-par battle ability with the Alpha King in her fifteenth. Lamia’s wolf, Inanna, can even activate by itself by the time she reached 14.

So, King Alexander (or “Al”) of her pack sends her to train with the Royal Guards in the Alpha Academy.

The good news: Lamia, Delta’s Daughter, is going to the same Academy as Prince Kellen. Kellen (or “Kel”, just as Lamia always refers him to) is not only Lamia’s best friend. The two also have unique crown-shaped birthmarks and have formed unusual bonds since their childhood.

Two years later, we know that Delta’s Daughter, Lamia, takes on both Alpha and Luna classes. From there, she meets the beautiful she-wolf, Kira, probably in her Luna class, and forms stronger bonds with other male werewolf characters in The Delta’s Daughter book, particularly in the Alpha class, as we progress through the stories.

Like any other novel question: Who will Lamia end up with? More importantly, will Lamia be the Alpha or Beta (because of her tremendous battle powers), the Luna to Prince Kellen, or continue to pursue her father’s path as the Royal Delta?

Part 1: The Author Of The Delta’s Daughter

The Delta's Daughter by JwgStout

When thinking about the author of The Delta’s Daughter novel, we get the pseudonym of JwgStout. Sometimes, the media would state JwgStout as G. W. Stout. After all, “Jug” and “G. W.” almost sound identical when we try to pronounce the author’s nickname faster. However, to my shock that JwgStout is a female author despite her highly masculine pen name.

We can see her photo when we stumble upon JwgStout’s author profile on Dreame.

I would say that JwgStout is one of the most interactive authors on Dreame’s platform. She doesn’t only communicate regularly with her audiences and promotes her books on her social media accounts, such as Facebook and TikTok. Instead, JwgStout also has “the Author’s Message” in the book that she writes, including The Delta’s Daughter.

When we read “the Author’s Message” in each chapter of The Delta’s Daughter book, we know that JwgStout is different from other authors who tend to give quotes from famous people. We can see what lies in JwgStout’s mind when we read the impressions, she discloses in every part of her “Author’s Message”.

Another unique point that I get from the author of The Delta’s Daughter novel is that JwgStout is a canine lover. All of the stories she writes are involving werewolves, and we can easily find her resting with her pups when she’s not updating the chapters.

Part 2: Free Chapters From The Delta’s Daughter

The Delta’s Daughter Chapter 2

The Delta's Daughter Chapter 2

Two years after Chapter 1 marks the beginning of the stories in Chapter 2 of The Delta’s Daughter. Now, Lamia and her childhood brother-like sweetheart, Prince Kellen, are enrolled in the Alpha Academy. Indeed, there are many academy-related aspects in this chapter of The Delta’s Daughter book that we can recognize.

The dorms are the first academy-related aspects that we can recognize in this chapter titled “Alpha Academy”. Then, we recognize classes in real-world settings that the author has adjusted, so the classes will fit the werewolf-verse requirements.

For example, the Alpha class is largely for male wolves to prepare for leadership positions, while the Luna class is for, she-wolves to enhance their feminine sides to prepare to be the best Luna for their future Alphas.

Here, in this chapter of The Delta’s Daughter, we also recognize the romantic bonds between Lamia and Prince Kellen regardless of how they think about each other.

The Delta’s Daughter Chapter 5

The Delta's Daughter Chapter 5

I would say that Chapter 5 of The Delta’s Daughter book, titled “Crush and Crushed”, is a part of the relationship conflicts between Lamia and Kellen. When I read the stories in this chapter of The Delta’s Daughter book, I get that it all happens because Kellen chooses a male for his Delta, and Lamia doesn’t accept it.

The playboy Beta Mike from The Delta’s Daughter takes advantage of the mourning Lamia at the party that both of them attend. Just as Lamia asks him why doesn’t her beloved Kel choose her as the Delta, Beta Mike says that it’s because she’s too strong as a she-wolf.

Then, the playboy Mike proceeds in making love with Lamia. He almost succeeded, if Kel doesn’t interrupt with the mind links to demand him to back off from Lamia.

The two male wolves proceed by fighting each other. This time, Kel tries to convince Lamia that she was making love with the wrong male wolf. However, Lamia doesn’t care and leaves the party scene.

The Delta’s Daughter Chapter 6

The Delta's Daughter Chapter 6

When I read the title of Chapter 6 of The Delta’s Daughter, which is “Innanna”, I immediately know that the chapter’s story has something to do with Lamia’s wolf, Innanna. The story itself opens up by telling what Innanna feels after Lamia leaves the scene in the previous chapter. This part is the part that makes my guesses wrong.

As I read through the stories in this chapter of The Delta’s Daughter, I know that Lamia has successfully surpassed every requirement in the Alpha Academy.

Just as Mr. Wilson, the head instructor of the academy, calls her to his office to discuss the decisions related to the academy, Mr. Wilson also discovers the relation between Innanna, Lamia’s wolf, and her true identity.

So, it appears that Innanna is an ancient Mesopotamian Goddess who is the third generation of Moon Goddess in The Delta’s Daughter series. History knew Innanna returned from the underworld, and her nickname is, “Queen of Heaven”. She is an exceptionally strong wolf who was awakened by Conri, Kel’s wolf.

The name of Conri itself means the Wolf King. It is through communicating with Innanna that Lamia knows Conri and Innanna are destined to protect each other. No wonder her bonds with Kel are so strong.
