A Lesson on Trust and Love: Read Fated to my Enemy Read Online

Fated to my Enemy is that book of escape. What I mean is that we’re not looking at another revenge story, although it could certainly turn into that. Rather, the book shows us how much the determination to be far from a particular thing can make that desire succeed. I mean how did she do it for seventeen years?

Another great book. After, check out the next title.

Part 1: Plot Summary of Fated to my Enemy

Fated to my Enemy: Beta Luke

The tale follows the life of young Ryley who is dealt a big blow at the age of seventeen. It changes the course of her life completely, requiring her to escape from the home she’d always known, and into the human society.

In Fated to my Enemy, Ryley is betrayed by the one she gave her heart to. Her loved ones died at his hands and before she could as well, Ryley made her escape. Only after she had run away from that life did she discover that she was with child. Not only that, but also the fact that the one she’d fallen out of love with, was her fated mate.

Seventeen years later, Ryley has made something of herself in the human society. Her life is peaceful and full of love for her son. They’re together and that is all that mattered to Ryley. She was never bothered knowing his father was a sick, traitorous bastard. Rather, she loved her child because he was the most precious gift she could have gotten.

Unfortunately, their peace gets interrupted when Ryley is asked a favor from her boss, to go and do some work for the Alpha of the Orion pack. Ryley refused at first, but when that didn’t work, she made her demands, ensuring that they’d be comfortable and undisturbed.

Ryley’s fear remained that she would be pulled back into the tiresome and risky life of a werewolf. She wanted to stay away from the conflict and nonsense that came with them. No one could know that she survived that betrayal all those years ago. It was necessary that they still thought she was dead.

However, her life in the Orion pack’s territory could prove beneficial to Ryley and Channing. The Alpha of the pack certainly seems pretty attached already.

Part 2: Main Characters of Fated to my Enemy

Ryley

Fated to my Enemy: Ryley

She’s a Luna wolf. Ryley had been set to take over from her parents when they retired, but they never got to that part. Unfortunately, Ryley had bad luck in love, and the male wolf had destroyed her whole life. He forced her into hiding and Ryley couldn’t fathom returning to that place or that sort of life.

Her life now revolved around Channing, her son, her everything. Ryley made sure to cut off whatsoever would link her to the wolves. She became a lone wolf. It was just her and Channing. However, that doesn’t remain the status quo, because she had work to do for the Orion pack.

While Ryley disdained returning to werewolf society, I think it was pretty inevitable. Why do I say so? Well, because no matter how much she hates it, she is a werewolf and so is Channing. One way or the other, there had to be an interaction. You can run for a really long time, but when you have such deep ties, breaking away completely is nearly impossible. However, one can manage the degree of involvement.

In Fated to my Enemy, Ryley is strong, resilient, and determined to live well. Nothing can put that in Jeopardy because her son is not allowed to face difficulty. This was it for Ryley. But, maybe she’s too young to give her all to raising her son. Maybe Ryley could find better meaning to life than the small, comfortable world she created.

Blake

He is the Alpha of the Orion pack. Blake is like every other Alpha, showing dominance and expecting submission. However, he meets his match in the lone wolf that comes into his pack in order to set his finances right.

Blake didn’t expect someone like Ryley. She was different and shrouded in exciting mystery. How could he not be curious about the beautiful she-wolf. Blake has no idea of what she had left behind, but he definitely wants to find out.

Fated to my Enemy opens up with a painful scene showing the betrayal and loss suffered by the protagonist. She loses everything in a single day and it all could have been avoided, if only she’d been a better judge of character. If only they’d been more careful. Then, it turns out that the bastard is her fated mate. See what I mean? So troublesome.

Part 3: General Opinion of Fated to my Enemy

Fated to my Enemy: Ryley and Blake

Fated to my Enemy doesn’t exactly scream LOVE and ROMANCE. Don’t confuse the book for the series, they’re both really different. Here, were dealing with wolves and their tendency to piss all over good intentions, relations and happiness of others in general.

I’m not being too harsh or rash when I say that male werewolves really seem to be missing a few brain cells. The breed I’ve been reading about recently, has just been a complete disappoint. They seem like a mass of muscle, with rocks for brains, only concerned with how they can get off.

But I guess it’s not the fault of the wolves, after all their story is a product of the writer’s imagination, a representation of their desires, fantasies, and emotional state.

I’m not coming for anyone with this, lol. But truly, we need to be a little more realistic. Lust and hunky jocks are nice, but a little something more would be nice. Fated to my Enemy doesn’t disappoint my expectations of it. Though really, I went into it with quite an open mind and little thought on what it would turn out to be like. However, it surprised me with its slow chokehold. The book is gripping in a fun and light sort of way. Yes, it is a good novel.

Upon checking out the first chapters of Fated to my Enemy, I couldn’t help wondering how crazy being a werewolf could be. I love creatures of fantasy and myth for their abilities and beauty, but there are certain aspects that are truly troublesome about them.. Maybe it’s all the werewolf novels I’ve been reading lately, but damn, those guys are exhausting.

Part 4: Amazing Chapter from Fated to my Enemy

Chapter Six

Fated to my Enemy: Channing

Ryley demanded from Beta Luca where Alpha Blake’s office was located. The Beta looked confused. Meanwhile, Channing said called out to his mother with a tone of caution. Nevertheless, Ryley did what she wanted.

The Beta gave the location, and Ryley thanked him before she set off for Mr. Orion’s office.

She stormed to the pack house.

Ryley had been around alphas for half her life. She was even raised by one. Therefore, she was not going to put up with Blake’s crap. His anger that she wanted to work for someone else while working with him, was unwarranted. She worked for Mr. Miller. Who does Blake think he is?

Lily, Ryley’s wolf, answered for her; Blake was a really sexy alpha.

Ryley told off her wolf when the lewd talk continued as she pounded on the door to Blake’s office.

When she was allowed in, she met Blake who bore a smirk on his lips. Lily thought if she wasn’t so pissed, she’d have noticed some interestingly appealing features of his.

Blake didn’t seem to care about treating her like an object he paid for and possessed, and that just pissed Ryley off even more.

He tried to make her submit, but Ryley knew all about those bullshit tactics, and she wouldn’t be falling for them anytime soon or in the future for that matter.

Ryley was a lone wolf and that wasn’t going to change because of some Alpha.

Blake tried to pry information out of her, but Ryley avoided anything personal or just shut it down completely. When he tried to make her wolf submit, Ryley was disgusted by his arrogance. Ryley bade him a good weekend and then left. She wouldn’t submit.
