Part 1: The Storyline of Destined to the War God
Destined to the war god, Azalea, is a dragon kingdom royal slave who was born into slavery. She spent her childhood being tortured and overworked, being fed lies, and having her life stolen. Until this point, she had no idea how she would live like this.
She only wished for her life to end, which soon would have. And she couldn’t wait to finally put an end to her suffering, so death was welcome. At least once a year, the slaves in the kingdom would have to participate in a ritual where they would be fed to the dragons.
When that comes, Azalea shows no emotion as she sees the other slaves get devoured by the dragons, although she does feel her stomach turn at a distance. The largest, scariest dragon slowly drew near to her. It was black.
Funny enough, she doesn’t seem terrified despite the dragon’s roaring in her face. The dragon just stared at her after. She sighed instead, growing frustrated that the dragon hadn’t done what needed to be done. “Come on, eat me,” she urged.
Azalea thought that it was her chance to end her misery. But the dragon saved her from certain death by carrying her off to the land of Prince Kayden.
When his dragon brought the woman who didn’t fear him, Prince Kayden was still in wonder. It was the first time someone other than him could quiet his dragon. The woman was able to quickly attract his attention.
He didn’t know that Azalea could do more than just make his heart race, because Azalea is the one who was destined to be the war god. Prince Kayden was passionate and powerful, attracted to her like a moth to a flame. She was beyond his wildest expectations as a peer.
Part 2: The Main Characters of Destined to the War God
Azalea
The character of Azalea in Destined to the War God will give you heartache from the emotional strain she will put you through. She was gloomy and dejected as a result of growing up in a kingdom servants’ hell. Other than following the rules, she knew nothing else.
Death is all she wants, and she can’t wait to get it. But meeting Prince Kayden, the war of God, will make it impossible because she was destined to be the war god.
At first, she was afraid of Prince Kayden because of his cruelty. He was called a war god for nothing. Over time, Azalea began to feel more at ease around the prince, that she was destined for the war of god. His warmth and touch always made her tense up.
She was enslaved once more, but it was at the prince’s desire this time. She had previously been a slave, but that had been against her will. The prince ordered Azalea’s enslavement this time. Kayden expected her to serve him in every way, including satisfying his libidinous needs. She hesitated at first but finally decided.
Azalea was okay with the fact that the prince was incredibly demanding. She was delighted to be of service to him and please him. It was a huge compliment that the prince had chosen her, but she also knew she’d be trapped in his love forever.

Prince Kayden
Prince Kayden, the male lead of Destined to the War God novel is the third prince of the dragon kingdom and is known as the War God. He was feared by many people and had a long history of victory in battle. He has his dragon, much like the royal prince usually does, and the dragon is charmed by Azalea’s beauty.
When a slave successfully tamed his dragon for the first time, he wondered what was going on. When his dragon delivered Azalea to him, Kayden finally understood. Because he, like his dragon, was captivated by the lady.
Prince Kayden’s merciless laws in Destined to the War God have been in place for ages due to its status as a war of gods; Azalea’s love for him eventually resulted in his breaking of these laws.
Despite his frigid demeanor, Kayden felt a massive effect from Azalea’s affection. She gradually but surely melted the ice surrounding his heart. He began to view the world differently, and eventually, he was able to escape his violent past.
Part 3: What makes the Destined to the War God story unique?
The bizarre cruelty laws of the royal family and the exotic locations in Destined to the War God novel helped set it apart from other such stories. Who wants a lover whose pet dragon eats human beings, right? Whatever the case may be, the author’s concept stands.
Surprisingly, it managed to be carried out successfully without making me cringe. Forgiveness and Azalea’s retreat into sadness were the major objectives of the story. The presence of Prince Kayden brings considerable peace to Azalea’s mind. Because he cares so deeply for her, he is willing to risk his life to keep her safe.
Plus, their erotic scenes in Destined to the War God are superb! Simply put, nothing beats a steamy scenario. Everything is electric, including the tension, heat, and release. This is a must-read if you’re a genre hopper. You can read it on Dreame.
