Summary
Harper Blaak has never known hardship in her 20 years of living. As the heiress of a multibillion dollar empire, she has it all....at least she did, until she cost her father a once-in-a-life-time deal which forced him to teach her a lesson about consequences. Harper is pulled out of a prestigious private university, away from her same-click friends and all the luxuries she once took for granted and is thrown into a public college where she has to share a dorm room, has to take the bus to town and has to look for a part time job to pay for her boarding and food. Moreover, she has a year to become an A-student or her father will leave her there for all her college days.
Help comes in a form of the never-smiling school's bad-boy, Kristofer Mason, who happens to be a top student and in one of her courses. They are accidentally paired together for the assignments of the semester and Kristofer has no choice but to tutor Harper so that he doesn't lose his scholarship. Harper is taken through the journey of self discovery that highlights on the important things that this chance has given her.
