Summary
Francine “Frankie” Abernathy is the newly appointed Alpha of the Midnight Moon Pack located in Virginia. Frankie’s father and older brother were tragically killed and she was thrust into the position of Alpha. Frankie struggles to maintain the large pack and to keep their enemies at bay. Many other alphas are skeptical of the young female’s abilities to lead the pack. They send their sons in hope that Frankie is their mate. But with the help of her Beta and the rest of the pack Frankie pushes back and proves she is a capable alpha. Frankie begins to feel the pull to search for her fated mate but she doesn’t want to yield power to a male. Imagine Frankie’s surprise when she discovers her mate isn’t an alpha. Clayton Marshall is an FBI agent who investigates homicides. Clayton is newly divorced and taking care of his ten year old daughter, Lily. One summer day Clayton is called to a state park on the outskirts of DC to investigate a body found in a shallow grave.
