Summary
Dare To Be A Teen - Elite Academy Lacey has spent her whole life trying to live up to her father and stepmothers expectations. Until one day she just can't do it anymore. Instead she applies for a scholarship at an elite academy making it in and forcing her to be more independent while juggling work, school and her guardians who persist in making her life difficult.
When she attends school she thinks that life will get better, excited at the prospect of making new friends. Sadly though instead of being welcomed she's ostracized and made fun of by the majority of the students attending there.
The only thing that makes her happy is the music program at the school, the very reason she applied for the scholarship in the first place. Lacey wants chase her dreams of being a songwriter or a producer of music, wanting nothing more than to excel and get out from under her stepmother and father's thumb once and for all.
When the school's resident bad boy Sawyer takes an interest in her, so does someone else but not in the same way. As his interest grows Lacey goes through pranks, trials and tribulations as someone starts a vendetta against her. Will she find out the culprit? Is this person going to let up or will they escalate the pranks until Lacey can't take anymore. Will Sawyer fight his feelings for Lacey determined to keep her safe or will he cave and start a relationship with the girl he's had eyes on since she started.
