Small town Girl Leah Barnes, 18, is a college Art student who has had a difficult year of ups and downs. It hasn’t been plain sailing, but despite her difficulties, she now has her boyfriend and her best friends, in her life, providing her with much love, laughter and support.
Leah’s goes to college, and beyond this, into the working world and discoverers her hardships have only just begun.
Her overbearing mother’s strong disapproval of her chosen career in Art, proves too much for their relationship, and as Leah makes her way into the world without her parents’ acceptance. Having gained confidence and strength in her beliefs and herself, Leah accepts who she is and is determined to prove to herself she can make it, all while proving her parents wrong.
Strong willed and stubborn, Leah has some has some tough decisions and choices ahead to make which not only affect her, but the people she now calls her family; her best friends, her boyfriend and her boyfriend’s parents.
As employment opportunities present themselves, Leah has to decide if accepting them is worth the drama, discovering that not everything is as simple and straightforward as it seems.
She is tested to her limits in both her work and personal life, having the chance to travel and seek adventure on a vouge of self-discovery all while fulfilling her dreams as an Artist, but all this comes with a price pay, one that perhaps isn’t always worth it, but this is only something Leah can decide.
