“What did you do?!” I yelled as I walked closer, hoping to take them from him, before he did more damage. He threw them away, before I could reach the papers, and then grabbed my shoulders. “I love you,” he said. “It isn’t enough,” I whispered. My heart was beating like crazy. His words were bringing it to life again, and it almost wanted to jump out of my chest, so it could be with him. Even if my mind didn’t agree, my heart was his. There was no doubt. “It is! It is enough because you love me too.” “I …” “I know you do,” he said. I pressed my eyes together, trying my hardest not to cry, and when I opened them again, he didn’t hesitate, as he kissed me hard. I couldn’t stop the tears as he kissed me. It was too good. It was like coming home. Like this was exactly where I should be. “You can’t,” I said and turned my head, but he didn’t listen. He pushed me down on the couch, and then removed his jacket before getting on top of me. He kissed me again, and I responded. I couldn’t help myself. I really f*cking couldn’t. My body was heating up, readying itself, because even my body knew who it belonged to, and for a moment I didn’t want to fight it. I just wanted to listen.
