Summary
I run to my son hearing his screams of pain. To my horror I watch as his bones are breaking by themselves. I pick him up and start to race to my car. I have seen this before and I know our time here in Paradise Falls has come to an end. My past is finally catching up to me. I guess I should explain who I am and why I know what my son is. My name is Teagan Spears, I am 36-year-old. Orphaned as a baby I had a hard childhood. I worked hard and got a full ride to a prestigious college where I met the man of my dreams, Reese. We dated all through college and he asked me to marry him. The night that changed my life forever was the night we were supposed to have some kind of huge talk. Instead, I was kidnapped, held for weeks. When finally, he did rescue me I had watched as he changed from being a wolf back to being human. I ran not knowing at the time I was pregnant.
