Picking her up bridal style, Kai proceeds to take Thea to her room. Her arm is broken, her face swollen, she has a split lip and a head concussion. Afraid she may not be considered for the Beta position anymore, she tries to hide the truth from Alpha Ulric about what happened, but he sees right through her.

For me, the entire novel is like a big jar of overflowing honey. I have never seen a more pampered and adored female lead character in any other book I have ever read.
Although it’s nice seeing how faithful and loving the triplets can be, there were scenes where they seemed too needy and available. Sometimes, a little indifference wouldn’t hurt. It would have been interesting to see Thea work for their affection a little bit, see the Alpha brothers invested in other things as well rather than just their mate.
