The first day of Arabella becoming a senior marks the setting in Chapter 5 of Touch Me While I Taste You book. This chapter is also the continuation of Chapter 4 where Haiden, the bully, drives his truck in front of Arabella and the girls. In this chapter of Touch Me While I Taste You, I can sense Haiden’s interest in Arabella as he moves his truck in Arabella’s direction.
As a result, Arabella’s clothes are full of dirt. On the other hand, Gwen and her surprising pink convertible car try to encourage Arabella’s relationship with Haiden. However, she has gone too far with her excessive jokes and laughs. Such a thing turns Arabella off, and she shuts Gwen down. After all, Arabella needs to protect herself against Haiden, not go to his so-called embrace!

Haiden’s attempts to charm girls are the most consistent scenes in Touch Me While I Taste You. Like Arabella, he also has the habit of never closing the window. His relationships with his parents are also not the closest ones. However, it doesn’t mean Haiden doesn’t get along well with his parents.
Haiden and Arabella’s personality pattern in Touch Me While I Taste You novel is something we would like to see in a match made in heaven. Arabella’s perfectionist, organized, and teacher’s pet tendencies contrast with Haiden’s spontaneous, flirty, and rebellious nature. Yet, these two patterns always click together. It makes me categorize Haiden and Arabella’s relationship under the slow-burn romance category.
Talk about spontaneous, flirty, and rebellious characters, Haiden isn’t the only character in this novel to possess such a set of characteristics. Gwen, the blonde cheerleader, and one of Arabella’s friends, also has identical traits, albeit with softer heart tendencies. Gwen’s status as Arabella’s best friend leads me to believe she wants to encourage Arabella’s relationship with Haiden.
I would only be correct if Gwen cared about Arabella’s well-being. If the former girl turned her back on the latter girl, her acts of pranking Arabella could be her kick-start steps to steal Haiden from Arabella. Either way, Gwen remains one of the most intriguing characters in Touch Me While I Taste You.
Part 4: A Novel Similar To Touch Me While I Taste You
Friendship is one of the most integral elements in Touch Me While I Taste You since this novel belongs to one of the teen romance novels. We see how the girls hang out together as the new seniors in their school in the early chapters of this novel. Haiden also gets along with most girls in his area, even though his circles are mysterious, at least in some first chapters.
Haiden’s flirtatiousness and bad-boy tendencies are two things Arabella loves and hates since the first chapters of Touch Me While I Taste You. So, have you wondered if a man like Haiden could have his dark side? What if we add the dark romance touch to a book with similar storylines?
