Part 1: Exciting storyline and interesting characters of The Unhoneymooners

The Unhoneymoonersis one of the best-selling novels by Christina Lauren which are not one person but two writing partners Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings who write young adult and romantic adult fiction together.

Christina Lauren is known for their great storytelling and unique characters that will swoon over.

The Unhoneymooners revolve around Olive, the unlucky. She is still yet to find luck in her career life, love, and almost at everything but her twin Ami has an opposite life.

Ami is getting married and she forces Olive to spend the day with Ethan, Olive’s sworn enemy. It’s unlike that Olive can ignore Ethan who happens to be the best man.

Olive decides to go through the wedding and she can go back to not so lucky world but at least not like anything to spend it with the man you hate, right?

But the wedding party turns into a disaster when all the wedding guests get food poisoning after one bad shellfish however not all guests are affected there’s still olive and Ethan who is not affected and also there’s a free trip on the cards.

The free trip, with all expenses paid to Hawaii, Ami’s honeymoon is up for grabs after the bad taste of shellfish. Olive grabs the offer deciding to put her mutual hatred aside.

It’s not like this is a honeymoon trip, she can avoid Ethan even though they head to paradise which is known for lovers.

What was supposed to be a cute little fancy trip turns into a career-threatening choice when Olive runs into her future boss and with her little white lie, she tells him, everything is at stake for Olive.

Now the only solution is that Olive and Ethan pretend to be the newlyweds who are actually on their honeymoon. With her luck seeming worse than ever, Olive feels not so weird about this fake dating option with Ethan, the one who makes our hate with a passion.

The Unhoneymooners was an epic love story and if you have read Christina Luaren’s books you know that she never disappoints. But this time around what impressed me the most was how Olive was one of the most pessimistic characters, who questions everything.

Ethan, on the other hand, is hot, and handsome, opposite to Olive and he’s an optimist, unlike Olive. The pairing was fabulous, I loved the characters but I loved them together more. There was a cute love saga between Ami and her finance but with Olive and Ethan, you could feel it.

The hot sexual tension, the undeniable attraction, and also the fact that they are Unhoneymooners who just want to avoid each other.

When their plan turns upside down they are stuck playing the newlyweds themselves.

The Unhoneymooners is a must-read novel if you love something light-hearted with good paving and twists that you never so come across in this sizzling romance story that will make you want more.

As a romance lover, I always enjoy the concept of hatred to love with two enemies who are not ready to fall in love. The Unhoneymooners is one of the enemies turned lovers with the concept of fake dating that was interesting and exciting, to say the least.

The Unhoneymooners revolve around Olive who considers her life to be unlucky. When her twin sister’s wedding party turns bad Olive grabs the free vacation. But along with her, there’s Ethan.

Her sworn enemy and the best man who is heading on vacation along with her after all was a honeymoon package. They can’t just stay out of each other’s way but that’s until Olive finds herself caught in a lie with her future boss.

Now Olive along with Ethan has to play the newlyweds role and maybe for once, her life isn’t so unlucky after all.

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren had me wanting more. I loved the one-liners comedy timing between the characters their intense moment, sexy cheesy moments to those hot kissing scenes. It was the best pick for me and if you love a good romance you need to try The Unhoneymooners.
