Chapter 1

She had no memory prior to when she joined the Snow Moon Pack, and all she could remember was when she crossed the border into the pack. Lily was starving, so she raided the kitchen of the Snow Moon Pack house, and that was how she was caught by Luna Tina, and adopted into slavery. This chapter of the novel tells the readers and paints a clear picture of how Lily was maltreated drastically.

The Heartless Alpha Demitri said those words to Lily. They had just gotten married, and Lily was spending her first time out of the Snow Moon Pack in nearly more than ten years. At this point, Lily still dreaded the fact that she was married to Alpha Demitri Varlos. As a matter of fact, Lily was not just married to him, he was actually her fated mate.
Lily had just arrived in her new pack house and was slowly digesting the place when Alpha Demitri made the above statement to her.
“I’m going to have to examine your middle. I need you to remove your shirt. It’s not invasive, and it won’t take long. I promise “

Lily was unfortunate to have been adopted by Alpha Theo and Luna Tina of the Snow Moon Pack. According to The Heartless Alpha Novel, Lily could not remember anything from her past. The only thing Lily could remember was when she stumbled and staggered into the border of the Snow Moon Pack and made her way to the kitchen. There, Lily ravaged the kitchen for food, and that was where and when Luna Tina found her and adopted her.
The fact that Lily had been adopted following the fact that she could not remember who she was ought to be a thing to be thankful for, but Lily was unlucky. What Lily faced while she was in the Snow Moon Pack was more horrendous than what she would have faced if she had just gone rogue. At least if she was rogue, she would have her freedom. At least if she was rogue, she could run from danger when it reared its head but, in the case, where she had been adopted to the Snow Moon Pack, there was no running anywhere. She had to stay there and accept what was.
One day, Lily woke up to her wedding. Yes, she was going to get married to the Alpha of another pack, and Lily had not even met her husband before. She had no idea who he was or if she was even fated to him. All she knew was that she had been instructed to get ready for her wedding. What was happening was that she was being sold off. Of course, Alpha Theo and Luna Tina had found a way for Lily to be useful to them, and so they sold her off to The Heartless Alpha Demitri Varlos.
When Lily was being taken to meet Alpha Demitri at the altar, Alpha Theo who stood in as her father could not even spare her for the fact that she was getting married. The man was still hostile to her, scaring her and looking down on her while he ushered her to the front of the guests seated to witness the wedding. It was safe to say that there was no hiding place for Lily as far as the Snow Moon Pack was concerned. She was a slave. Lily nursed happy feelings that at last and at least, she would leave the Snow Moon Pack for good, until she saw the man, she was getting married to.
Just before Lily saw the face of her husband, she felt a pull towards him as soon as the doors of the wedding hall were opened to let her in. She felt the pull towards Demitri, and also perceived the pleasant scent that mates perceived when they were together, and that was to say that The Heartless Alpha Demitri Varlos was her fated mate. Lily almost sunk into the ground when she realised what was happening. It was no wonder Evelyn; her foster sister was not jealous of the devilishly handsome man that Lily was getting married to.
Evelyn had a sinister smile on her face as Lily was walking down the aisle, and Lily could not understand why until she saw herself standing in front of Alpha Demitri Varlos. That was it! They exchanged their vows in a tensional environment, and before Lily knew it, she had left the Snow Moon Pack, and was headed to her new pack with Alpha Demitri Varlos. The man, as rumoured to be heartless, was eccentric and mysterious, and all the while, Lily tried to make him talk to her during their ride to his pack, but he plainly shut her up instead.
Lily arrived at her new pack, and for the first time in her life as far as she could remember, she had a decent night’s rest, as well as being taken care of closely by the Alpha’s sister who happened to be a doctor. The Alpha noticed how unhealthy Lily looked and asked his sister to run a check on her, and that was how they discovered that Lily had been going through hell in the Snow Moon Pack, as there were scars all over her body to prove that she had faced years of being maltreated and malnourished.
Part 3: Conclusion Of The Heartless Alpha
Intriguing. The Heartless Alpha Novel carries a lot of mystery with it, and that will serve as a good cliffhanger for the novel. The Heartless Alpha Demitri Varlos seemed not to be as heartless as he was portrayed to be. That could be seen in the part where Tharma was checking on Lily and Lily made a comment about the Alpha being heartless.
It came as a shock to the Alpha’s sister that Lily would imagine the man that got married to her and was her fated mate as heartless, and one that did not have time to care about her. The author of the novel delivered a solid werewolf romance novel, and readers would definitely get lost in the pages of the novel.
