Part 1: A Hardcore Luna And Her True Love’s Story In The Guardian Wolf And Her Alpha Mate

The Guardian Wolf And Her Alpha Mate Nova’s love for her chosen mate seems to be greater than her love for herself. Standing in the middle of a crowd of male Alphas, Nova must keep her body from crumbling and her voice steady as her chosen mate Axton meets his fated woman.

Although Nova was aware this day would come, she wasn’t ready for was coming next. All it took was a little nudge from his chosen mate and Alpha Axton fled into his fated mate’s arms, showering her with hugs and kisses and ignoring everyone around, including his wife.

Nova was heartbroken but she couldn’t show her pain to all the other Alphas present for the meeting. She was the Luna of the pack and the host, thus she had her duties to fulfill. While allowing Axton and his girl a moment of intimacy, she proceeded to run the meeting and discuss the rogue situation.

Every male Alpha present in the room was aware of the situation and seeing how composed and determined Nova seemed to find a solution to the rogue problem only made them admire her more.

Before reaching any conclusion, Nova’s pain heightened, a clear proof that her chosen mate was already being unfaithful to her. Mere minutes after meeting Rose, Axton was already in bed with her.

As Nova couldn’t carry on with the meeting, the Alphas retired to their rooms and allowed her some privacy. The only one that stayed behind to watch over her was Alpha Jax, who felt a weird connection with the girl. He felt he needed to protect her.

Instead of having the pain diminished, it only heightened the next days, with Nova ending up in the hospital. As if the torture from Axton and Rose mating wasn’t enough, Nova was almost killed when her husband decided to mark his fated mate before rejecting her.

No regular wolf would have survived such torment, especially not a wolf who wasn’t from Alpha blood, but Nova was no regular she-wolf. She was a Guardian Wolf, making her even stronger than any Alpha.

Recovering from her pain, Nova accepts Alpha Jax’s proposal to accompany him to his pack and start a new life. Before going with him, she had to admit her true identity to Jax and tell him that she would have the ability to find her true mate within a month, when she would turn 25.

Unlike all other wolves who found their fated mates at 18, Guardian Wolves could only recognize theirs at the age of 25.

Jax and Nova begin a beautiful friendship which becomes something more and eventually they end up being intimate. Alpha Jax falls head over heels for the beautiful Guardian Wolf but what will he do if she finds her real mate?

How will Nova cope with finding her true parents and learning about the cruelty of her grandparents? Is she ready to stand against those who harmed her family? And will Nova still be with Alpha Jax after she turns 25 and awakens her true powers?

Part 2: A Guardian Luna, Her Weak Chosen Mate And The Charming Alpha In The Guardian Wolf And Her Alpha Mate

How can you tell a heroine is badass? Well, if you’re judging by Nova’s character in The Guardian Wolf And Her Alpha Mate, there are plenty of things that make her a kickass Luna and novel protagonist.

First off, she selflessly decided to mate Axton and help her pack knowing that one day he would possibly meet his fated mate and abandon her. Even more, she encouraged Axton to go ahead and get acquainted with rose, his fated love.

She didn’t specifically allow them to get intimate so much and so quickly, but you get the bigger picture. She was being helpful, by taking the pack’s matters into her own hands and allowing them enough alone time to interact and decide their future.

Nova is a Guardian Wolf, which means that even Alpha Axton’s powers are worthless against her. This only proves even further that she never did anything for her pack because the Alpha ordered, but because she wanted to.

She was loved and cherished by her friends, thus her farewell was rather bitter than sweet. The weak chosen mate is, of course, Axton. Not only is he a frail Alpha, already controlled by his fated mate, but he is also selfish and apparently ignorant. He never realized that he almost killed Nova and her wolf Kia when he decided to mark another woman before rejecting his chosen mate.

Alpha Jax though is the epitome of a perfect lover. He cared for Nova even before she agreed to go with him to Midnight Sky pack and even before he realized they were fated mates. He respects Nova’s decisions and supports her throughout the entire process of healing after being betrayed.

Part 3: Thoughts On The Guardian Wolf And Her Alpha Mate

The first thing that drew my attention about The Guardian Wolf And Her Alpha Mate was the strong, compatible leading characters. Both Jax and Nova are born to be leaders, yet they don’t clash, nor do they crave for attention and leading position.

Nova is unlike any other she-wolf. She is stronger than an Alpha wolf, so she can choose to disrespect his command. But Nova doesn’t do so. She doesn’t show her neck in submission, but she can’t simply ignore orders either.

She learned to follow rules and respect her Alpha, never greedily wishing to take his place.

The book is definitely worth reading. It’s enticing and well-constructed, with a naturally flowing plot and a couple of twists that will leave you speechless.
