Part 1: The Darkest Alpha Storyline

Here is what The Darkest Alpha Xavier and Layla’s story is all about.

Gifted by the Moon Goddess with beauty and wisdom and being the Alpha’s daughter should have made Layla the luckiest girl in the pack. But things couldn’t be farther than this. She was indeed the Alpha’s daughter, but she was the unloved one.

Being selfish and without considering her feelings for one minute, the Alpha told Layla that he sold her to Alpha Xavier Blackmoon, one of the most ruthless, dangerous pack leaders in the werewolf world.

The girl tried to stand her ground and deny her fate, but her father only got mad and lifted his hand to slap her. Fortunately, Layla’s brother, Jason, was nearby and stopped his dad’s hand midair.

Hearing about his father’s contract involving his sister, Jason couldn’t keep himself from getting angry and challenge the man. After all, if he won the challenge, he could take over the pack and avoid his sister’s turmoil.

As the two men started fighting, the Luna entered and stopped them. She cared about her boys and she was willing to reason with them, understand their behavior.

The last thing Layla heard from her father that day is that the pack will be destroyed if she didn’t honor the contract. Disheveled, the girl wandered around the pack the entire day, trying to find reasons for running away or for protecting her pack and going to Alpha Xavier.

In the end, her duty towards her people got the best of her and she gave in. She agreed to go to Alpha Xavier Blackmoon.

The next morning, a luxurious car was waiting out front to take her to her new home. She barely got time to say goodbye to her parents, brother and sisters. Mai and Anastasia were actually jealous of their sister for being sent to a famous Alpha and they taunted Layla the night before her departure.

Arriving at Xavier’s pack, Layla is greeted by Melody, the person assigned to tend to her needs. She doesn’t understand the girl’s desperation to mate an Alpha and even sign a contract with him, but Layla soon clears the air by confessing that she had nothing to do with the contract.

Meeting Xavier, Layla realizes they are mates, yet, the Alpha doesn’t want anyone to know about this. He loathes the fact that they have been forced to be together and he doesn’t want anything to do with her, a gold-digger she-wolf.

His words harmed Layla but she couldn’t defend herself, his aura was too powerful and she felt lost whenever she was near him. The mate bond clearly messed with her mind.

For the outside world, Alpha Xavier had to pretend to be in love and be affectionate towards Layla. Being more often in her proximity helped Xavier let his guard down and slowly, he gave in to the mate bond.

Will Layla allow her mate to get close to her or will she punish him for treating her coldly in the beginning?

The Darkest Alpha Chapter 6

After a long journey, Layla finally reached Xavier’s pack. The entire ride to her new home was silent, as the driver never spoke one word. All she could do was stare out the window.

As soon as she stepped outside the vehicle, Layla was stunned. The place wasn’t a mansion, but a castle. A friendly woman approached the girl, telling her that her name is Melody and that she would be the one responsible for her.

Together with Melody was also Paul, the keeper of the house. They accompanied Layla through the enormous yard, leading her towards the house. She was impressed with the entire estate and sensed that Xavier must be very rich.

Layla’s room was on the first floor. It was huge, with a walk-in closet and an enormous bathroom. Surprisingly, the closet was full of clothes, shoes and accessories. Melody immediately told Layla that the Alpha had ordered the purchases for her.

He hadn’t even come to greet the girl yet how could he even consider being so generous with her? After pondering for a minute, Layla felt her wolf Lilia become restless as she announced the girl that their mate was there.

The Darkest Alpha Chapter 7

Layla got scared at the thought of finding her mate at the castle. What if she truly found her destiny while being forced to be with his Alpha? That would be torture for them. She hoped her wolf was wrong though.

Melody looked at Layla who seemed to be a nice girl and couldn’t help but wonder why would she agree to such contract instead of waiting for her fated mate.

Layla confessed she came from a smaller pack and her father found it convenient for his people to simply sell his daughter. After a moment of silence, the girl could tell that Melody was summoned through mind link. The Alpha wanted to see Layla.

Immediately, she wished for a heart attack. Her emotions spread wildly, as her breathing became faster. Melody tried to calm her down, to no avail. Layla followed the girl to Xavier’s office.

As soon as she entered, she heard Melody close the door, yet she was nowhere in sight. Layla was alone with Xavier and he didn’t look up from the documents in front of him. After a few moments of awkward silence, the Alpha lifted his head and met the girl’s frightened eyes.

Lilia, Layla’s wolf screamed’Mate’ and, before the girl could comprehend the situation, she was flying towards the wall, with Xavier’s hand on her throat.

He growled as his eyes went black, yet Layla felt sparks wherever he touched her body. She was elated and scared altogether. Happy to have found her mate, frightened because she could die at the hand of her own destined werewolf.

Xavier let go of Layla and looked at his hand as if something stung him. The girl felt a terrible pang in her heart, her mate felt disgusted with her. Without warning, Alpha Xavier screamed at her to get out of his office.
