Part 1: The Story Plots Of The CEO’s Contracted Mistress Novel

No education, training, or money to pay for her sister’s kidney transplant bills: The only thing that supports Bobbie Caron’s life is her barista job. Then, again, not all customers are tipping her.

In the first few paragraphs of The CEO’s Contracted Mistress novel, we see Bobbie lying down after getting tired of her double-shift job on that day. Meanwhile, Bobbie also recognizes the stunning-looking billionaire, who is also her loyal customer: Olivier Villeneuve.

This time, Olivier arrives at the café close to the closing hour while constantly ogling over Bobbie. Even though Bobbie refuses him at first, she can’t help but stare at the $60,000 this man throws right in front of her. For a mere barista like Bobbie, such a massive amount of money would mean saving her sister from the disease.

Then, Bobbie won’t need to go on a mundane barista job anymore. Even though the job is to accompany the billionaire for 30 days, Bobbie finds Olivier irresistible. Her attraction to Olivier sparks rapidly from physical to mental.

No matter how hard Bobbie tries to escape after knowing the job’s nature as The CEO’s Contracted Mistress, she knows Olivier is not used to the “No” statement. Olivier will get back to his contracted mistress and their offspring, no matter what happens!

Yet, there are times when Bobbie fails to obey Olivier, especially in her last five contract days. How far can Bobbie survive in the hands of this irresistible billionaire who used to be one of her customers?

Part 2: Meet The Characters Of The CEO’s Contracted Mistress

Bobbie Caron

Never knowing her father means Bobbie Caron has to learn to live independently with her sister since childhood. To make matters worse, Bobbie’s sister needs urgent kidney transplants, and having no access to knowledge bases, training, and influential friends means Bobbie should rely upon her job as a barista.

Yet, Bobbie is a hardworking individual. Not only does she not mind working on a double shift. Bobbie also sees the opportunity to leap outside her comfort zone by becoming The CEO’s Contracted Mistress. After all, Olivier’s charisma is irresistible, and she also needs his money.

Bobbie is not just a random barista. I see her lights of personality shine even more when I read The CEO’s Contracted Mistress. She understands things about businesses and politics because of her ability to socialize with people around her. That way, Bobbie becomes the force that Olivier’s legal wife should reckon with.

Olivier Villaneuve

Being a billionaire CEO means Olivier is not used to hearing rejection words. In other words, he has to have the last say in everything and everyone he encounters. I’ve seen Olivier’s persistence in offering Bobbie the questionable job as The CEO’s Contracted Mistress since the first chapter of this novel.

Olivier himself shows his animalistic side when he’s into an innocent-looking woman. In The CEO’s Contracted Mistress novel, I see him as an opportunistic and patriarchal guy, who sees women as his possessions and takes advantage of women’s needs.

At first, he thinks Bobbie is just like any woman who accepts his offers without thinking because she needs his money. Yet, something about Bobbie stops him from flirting with even more pretty-looking girls around him.

Part 3: An Analysis Of The CEO’s Contracted Mistress

You will see many business-related elements when you read more chapters of The CEO’s Contracted Mistress. This novel is unlike other similar boss romance novels where the billionaire CEO’s business and the negotiation process become the pivotal points that overshadow other characters’ businesses.

Bobbie’s jobs also get the spotlight in The CEO’s Contracted Mistress, especially in the first two chapters. She is not only a barista working on double jobs for a living, but she also lives in a boarding house (because it’s cheaper than living in an apartment), and she has solid relationships with her boss, teammates, and the rest of her family members.

So, you’ll satisfy your imagination of someone in hardship when you read Bobbie’s initial stories in The CEO’s Contracted Mistress. The power struggle between Bobbie and the s*x maniac billionaire Olivier is also real in this novel. It intensifies even further when Bobbie’s sister dies and she still has to be the contracted mistress.

It’s normal for someone like Bobbie to have “moment of sudden bravery outbursts” when she faces such a bitter reality. Another remarkable thing I witnessed in The CEO’s Contracted Mistress relies on the self-love part. Instead of transforming her looks (which will make Bobbie a typical female MC in romance novels), Bobbie focuses on rebuilding her business identity.

By doing so, Bobbie no longer cares if she couldn’t run away from the ruthless billionaire who used to “sell” her. Sure, Bobbie acknowledges Olivier’s business and romantic prowess. Yet, she also doesn’t want to go all easy on him, just like Olivier’s refusal to let Bobbie go!

Thus, I see Bobbie’s role as the mistress-for-contract in The CEO’s Contracted Mistress novel as a forced role. She deserves way better than her shady “job”!

Part 4: Some Remarks To Recommend Reading The CEO’s Contracted Mistress On Dreame

With its slow-moving and high doses of business terminologies, The CEO’s Contracted Mistress is the perfect answer for readers who want to see the intertwines between romantic feelings and business settings. The political negotiations between Olivier, Darian, and other characters in some of this novel’s chapters are too fabulous to be missed!

Being forced to be the mistress for the contract is not an easy experience for people like Bobbie. After all, Bobbie has to defend herself from the legal wife. The rivalry between women in this novel is bitter. Yet, it’s still enjoyable to read. When you purchase coins to unlock more chapters of this novel, you will see the chapters are worth your money!

Another highlight I find in The CEO’s Contracted Mistress novel that I believe also becomes one of my reasons to recommend this Dreame novel is that this novel focuses on the mistress’ story. Today, it’s rare to see novels with mistresses as the protagonists. Yet, this novel’s author puts the mistress in a more sympathy-worthy light.

As a result, I believe The CEO’s Contracted Mistress is not a reminder to steal a person’s significant other because Bobbie does it flawlessly. Instead, it’s a reminder that our feelings are valid, no matter what happens. Only by normalizing what we feel do we bounce back like Bobbie does.
