Part 1: The Story Of A Strong Gorgeous Woman In Divorced Heiress
Sarah literally gave up everything when she decided to marry the handsome billionaire heir Alexander Lancaster. In his eyes, Sarah was a poor girl who loved him and this was all that mattered to him at that time.
For two years, the two of them were loving and devoted to each other, despite the fact that the Lancaster family hated the girl for being a nobody and Sarah’s family never even came to meet her husband.
Suddenly, Alexander’s behavior towards his wife changed. It seemed like his love was finally consumed and he wanted nothing to do with Sarah anymore. One drunken night, he sleeps with her though, acting as affectionate and caring as he used to when they were happy in their marriage.
For a moment, Sarah hoped that things would go back to how they used to be, but the next morning her husband returned to his cold demeanor. For Sarah, it was a clear sign that the previous night was nothing more than a mistake.
Tired of lying to herself, the girl rushed to visit her mother. She was feeling out of the weather lately, but she blamed her mood on the recent events. Encouraged by her mother to take a pregnancy test, Sarah learns she is expecting a baby.

After taking her documents, she left the house she called home for the past few years and went to see her family. She knew her father was still upset with her for marrying an unworthy man, but she needed his care and protection now more than ever.
Leonardo Doinel came from a powerful family and he was a prominent fashion industry businessman. When his daughter Sarah left the family to be with Alexander Lancaster, he felt betrayed, but he never stopped loving his daughter.

Sarah knew she deserved to be scolded, maybe even kicked out but all her worries dissipated when her dad enveloped her in a tight hug, welcoming her home. She pleaded for forgiveness. She knew she was wrong for trusting Alexander and Rachel for all those years.
Sarah couldn’t help wondering whether she had been a bad wife and friend. She did her best, yet they chose to betray her.
With teary eyes, she confessed to her father that she was pregnant and that she didn’t plan to tell Alexander about the baby. Although Leonardo didn’t agree with her decision to keep her child a secret, he supported her.
To make Sarah feel welcomed, Leonardo Doinel quickly arranged a banquet to celebrate her return. As the girl believed that things were finally peaceful, her phone rang and a picture of Alexander in bed with Rachel appeared on her screen, along with a message.

Divorced Heiress is one of those novels I would read again and again and not get bored. I liked the fact that we are falsely misled to believe that Alexander was a good for nothing husband, a cheater nonetheless, who didn’t care about his wife at all.
And just when you made up your mind to completely hate the man, a sudden plot twist blows your mind. Things aren’t what they appear to be and Alexander never intended to be unfaithful to his wife.
Since the circumstances are against them, alexander and Sarah must work to find their way back in each other’s arms, especially since there are so many people wishing to break them apart again and again.
