Part 1: The Hot Chapters In My Secret, My Bully, My Mates Novel

Chapter 1

Living in a highly hierarchical werewolf universe is a tiring thing for Skylar. I can feel her bitterness in Chapter 1 of My Secret, My Bully, My Mates novel. Her bullying experience started when she was in the 6th grade. There, she meets Kaley, a bully girl who refers to her as “fatty” mockingly and joins her minions to make fun of Skylar.

None of Skylar’s parents, brothers, and their best friends pay attention to her sufferings. To make matters worse, sometimes, Skylar’s brothers also become the bullies’ enablers. One of the examples lies in the last paragraph of My Secret, My Bully, My Mates Chapter 1, where Skylar’s brothers comment on her baby fats instead of defending her. No wonder Skylar feels the urge to hide afterward!

Chapter 8

My Secret, My Bully, My Mates Chapter 8 describes Skylar’s arrival at Dakota’s pack. That’s why Dakota informs Sam, his closest friend and Skylar’s brother, of the new Sophomore girl’s attendance in the pack. So far, both guys have already recognized Sierra, Matteo’s sister. So, it makes the other friends wonder about the other girl, who turns out to be Skylar.

Sam quickly pities Skylar’s tiny builds when he meets her. To make matters worse, My Secret, My Bully, My Mates Chapter 8 also reveals Sam’s father who wants to set the stage for Skylar battling Sierra. Sam feels unfair when he compares the two girls’ physiques. Yet, the show must go on, and Sam feels uncomfortable with the thought of becoming an enemy to Matteo, Sierra’s protective big brother.

Part 2: The Main Story Of My Secret, My Bully, My Mates Novel

Ranks and statuses are two things that amplify a werewolf world’s hierarchical nature. Everybody wants to befriend the Alphas, including the werewolves in Skylar’s school. Speaking about a girl named Skylar, she is the female MC of My Secret, My Bully, My Mates novel. Hence, reading this novel means we follow her stories as the Beta’s daughter.

Skylar might never be the true Beta in her father’s eyes as much as her older brother. Her father also treats her like the family’s scapegoat while diminishing her achievements. Mary, her nanny, also never believes her sayings.

In My Secret, My Bully, My Mates, Skylar also doesn’t have any friends at school, even though she always becomes the top student and warrior. After all, her friends always find something in her that they can nitpick on and judge. To make matters worse, Skylar’s brothers and their best friends always join the bullies in enabling their antics.

However, My Secret, My Bully, My Mates describes Skylar’s true nature so well. Deep down, Skylar wants to bear responsibilities as the Beta’s daughter. So, Skylar never skips the warrior training. She also involves herself in disciplining other students and, hopefully, leading them in life’s right direction.

Yet, the bullying Skylar experiences in My Secret, My Bully, My Mates novel, persists until some years later. It causes her to hide herself. After all, nobody is treating Skylar better than Omegas these days. The immense pressure Skylar feels from her bullying and abandonment experiences also changes her physique without her immediate realizations.

All Skylar wishes for in life is acceptance for who she is. Will the bullying phase pass and Skylar gets a loving and protective mate? Will the mate be appreciative of Skylar’s combat prowess?

Part 3: Some Analysis About My Secret, My Bully, My Mates Novel

Some people are dead wrong when they say bullying can color a person’s high school moment. Such a statement feels one-sided, and Skylar’s experience speaks louder about how bullying can erode a person’s self-confidence.

Skylar should have experienced enough of her father’s abandonment. Having an unloving parent and siblings who never defend us are two things that lead us to believe there is something wrong with us, and that we should correct things that never exist. Skylar’s cases in My Secret, My Bully, My Mates manifest in her resilience first, followed by her deteriorating physical features.

Reading the chapters of My Secret, My Bully, My Mates novel gives me confidence that Skylar’s high grades at school and her huge energy investments in physical training are not for the sake of her hobbies. In other words, Skylar does these things to please people who can never appreciate her, including her father. Deep down, she just wants the madness to stop. Hence, resilience becomes Skylar’s liability, even though it is generally a positive characteristic.

Had the bullies directly deteriorated Skylar’s physical features, they would have lost the joy of making fun of the fatty Skylar. It would also leave Skylar plenty of escape rooms. So, they use Skylar’s vulnerability, which lies in her relationship with her parents and siblings, to attack her.

At the same time, I don’t see anything wrong in how Skylar relates with her parents and siblings when I read the chapters of My Secret, My Bully, My Mates novel. Playing favoritism is not a nice thing to do, and Skylar’s parents consciously choose it. They need to wait and see for her risen warrior spirit and incredible battle skills.

Part 4: Read A Novel Similar To My Secret, My Bully, My Mates

Werewolves glorify Alpha so much that everything happening in the werewolf-verse revolves around the Alphas. Everybody else follows the Alphas, and being the Alpha’s sons or daughters gives werewolf pups privilege over their lower-ranked peers, even in the eyes of the Betas.

The Beta werewolves are always the Alphas’ best friends for their supportive and accommodating roles in the pack. Protecting their pack from harm is the responsibility of all Betas, including the Betas’ children. It is also something Skylar of My Secret, My Bully, My Mates thinks of enjoying before the immense bullying experience impacts her malnourished body figure.

Talking about a similar novel, I recently stumbled upon a novel called “Moon Warrior”. This novel has many similar elements to the ones you see in My Secret, My Bully, My Mates. First, the female MC’s first name is also Skylar. Second, Skylar of Moon Warrior is the Beta’s daughter. Third, Moon Warrior’s Skylar also becomes malnourished by bullies and her family’s slave-like treatment of her.

Skylar’s sufferings in Moon Warrior are complete through her Alpha mate’s rejection on her 16th birthday. Since then, she has left the evil pack to start her self-finding journey. No matter what happens, Skylar will find the right pack where she should belong, and also the non-toxic circles that can support her growth!
