Part 1: What happens in The Imposter Bride

Imposter Bride novel begins with Natalia, sitting on the balcony of her million-dollar home, gazing up the sky and rubbing her 26-month belly. Her husband, Magnus Andersen is away for a business trip. Spending the night alone has becoming a normal routine and Natalia’s not complaining about that. Though not perfect, Magnus has been performing his duties as a hard-working, diligent husband. So much so that Natalia can barely count the minutes he had spent with her in the house.

The message exposed the video of Kendra and Magnus, engaged in a sexual activity, and enjoying every minute of it. The despair and hatred sent Natalia into an abyss. So deep that she want nothing else other than death. After discovering her child died, Natalia stole Magnus’ car and drove it off to the nearest bridge, aiming to plunge it into the sea.

Somehow, however, she didn’t get the exit she wished. She came out of the water, pretty much alive and determined to free herself from Magnus’ betrayal, from the death of her baby and from her obnoxious little sister.

That doesn’t mean she’s going to let go what happened. As she seeks purge and revenge to Magnus and Kendra, she’s faced with a new cycle of hardship, tests and countless trials. The worse of it all wasn’t the threats to her life but Magnus’ relentless pursuit to take her back and explain his side of the story. He claims to be framed by Kendra.

Is it true, though? Is he, just like her, a victim of the insecure people trying to tear them apart? Or are there far more truth that Natalia must dig before she gives him a chance to speak for himself?

Unfortunately, that came to a rest when her father arranged her to marry one of Andersen’s bachelors. The bride was supposed to be Kendra, her half-sister, but since the groom was also switched, the Clarksons needs a replacement.

Being the child who was born out of wedlock, Natalia was the most suitable option to perform the deed. Within a blink, Natalia became the pitiful wife of the crippled Magnus Andersen. There was no wedding. No ceremony. Soon as the papers were signed, Natalia moved into Magnus’ private island. There, Magnus was waiting for him with his tricks and schemes to make her suffer. Little does he know, Natalia would retaliate by showing her humanity.

Magnus Andersen

As you could have already know, Magnus Andersen is the hero and one of the antagonists in The Imposter Bride novel. He was on a mission to make his brother, Lucius, suffer for pushing him into the fire (which is why he got paraplegia) through stealing the woman he loves and snatching the company he adores.

He’s been successful. Only, it wasn’t Kendra who’s been sent to live with him. There had been a mass confusion and it took him a while to notice the error. And he was already falling in love with her when that happened.

Out of the spiral of confusion, anger and frustration, Magnus became the sole determiner of Natalia’s future. Despite his love for her, there are things out there that can’t just stay in his control. He’s bold, rebellious and full of integrity. For the woman he loves and for the life he’s been wanting to have, he’d go through hell just to achieve it.
