Supreme Magus story prologue
Supreme Magus starts with Derek McCoy who is the eldest son in the family. His brother’s name was Carl. You could not either describe Derek’s life as good or bad. Their father suffered from bipolar. With his episodes, he was gloomy often locked himself in a room, and would only vulture around to eat, bathe, or show his fit of rage against his kids.
Derek’s father never considered his two sons to be of any worth and would constantly harass them with beatings. Derek tried to report the issue anonymously to the social service.
But being understaffed, they visited once and never showed up again to sort the issue. As school progressed they were constantly bullied for their cheap clothes or their family’s poor financial condition.
Derek tried to report the issue to his teacher who turned it into the principal. The principal just ended up calling Derek’s father to let him have his son slide away the issue as he didn’t want to meddle with the kid’s situation.
Derek’s life was hard and his father barely made any money, it was a life of adversity and injustice wherever he went in the story Supreme Magus.

While growing up, he will fight with others and play around. Once he is all grown up he will be joining a business with his family or his cousins.
Later he will end up marrying someone and having kids of his own. For Derek, this Idea wasn’t too very pleasing and he didn’t want him to go through life troubles all over again.
So he had another option was that when he is old enough grab things he can just simply end his life so he might get another chance to be reborn again.
However, when he notices nanna using her magic powers to heal Elina and stop her from bleeding, Derek knew that there weren’t only two options in front of him. He had three.
And a third option is, He can learn about magic. He can grow up one day to become a magician who would live his life the way he wanted. And this was the beginning of the Supreme Magus as an infant.
This was the new beginning for Derek. With his knowledge, he could gather the power of magic and achieve a life and a name which he failed to do so in his previous life in the Supreme Magus novel.
