Hot Chapters from Cheers to Comeuppance by Eunie

The Cheers to Comeuppance novel doesn’t only become one of Dreame’s pay-to-read novels. Instead, Cheers to Comeuppance also has stories that are focused on the lives of a 26-year-old family doctor named Annika Hollands (maiden name: Silverton).

Annika’s lives seem perfect from the surface. Not only that she’s a family doctor, but she also elopes with her high school sweetheart, Jeffrey (a.k.a “Jeff” in the Cheers to Comeuppance stories), at 19, who later becomes a powerful defense attorney.

Their married lives have been so busy with work, part-time jobs, and occasional focus on studies, yet, they seem not to have any problems.

After seven years of marriage, Annika’s fellow doctor best friend, Kenzie, informs her that Jeff cheats with someone much younger and wealthier than her.

At first, Annika thought her best friend was only throwing some cruel jokes until Annika witnessed irregularities in her husband’s trial schedules. Finally, Annika saw that Jeff was making love with a young girl named Sadie.

She knows her husband plans to kick her out while taking everything from her, including making Counselor Hunter Malloy, Kenzie’s divorce attorney husband, the scapegoat while the two fight in the courthouse. Annika’s soon-to-be ex-husband also plans to fabricate false proofs that put Annika at a disadvantage. Will Annika survive?

Part 1: The Author Of Cheers to Comeuppance

When we see the summaries on the cover of Cheers to Comeuppance novel, we know that this novel has been one of the pay-to-read books on the Dreame platform. Cheers to Comeuppance is also one of the novels that participate in the most recent editions of Dreame’s Love Story Contest.

When we consider the two traits that Cheers to Comeuppance have, we immediately know that this novel is one of Dreame’s novels that have the potential in becoming a best-selling novel. It’s because Eunie, the author of Cheers to Comeuppance, is also Dreame author who has written several other best-selling books on Dreame.

Just look at her author bio: She is one of Dreame’s Next Top Writers. Most of her novels involve romantic elements, and Cheers to Comeuppance is not an exception. However, the thing that differentiates Eunie from other writers is that she writes the novels as if she writes a real-world story.

No wonder that her stories are close to real-life situations. For instance, we can witness the processes of proof-collecting, hiring private investigators, setting up living arrangements, and more, in more detailed fashions in this novel compared to other similar novels that also talk about divorce, relationships, betrayals, and more.

I would say that the stories in Cheers to Comeuppance move at steady paces while also minding the details. I just love the ways Eunie picture the alibis of and conversations between the characters.

Part 2: Hot Chapters From Cheers to Comeuppance

Cheers to Comeuppance Chapter 3

Chapter 3 of the Cheers to Comeuppance novel introduces us to a male character that Eunie as the author never mentions in the first few chapters before Chapter 3. The male character is Leonardo Von Doren, and people around him would call him Leon. He is the ex-husband of Sadie Galloway, the greedy and high-handed young lady who flirts with Jeff.

His marriage only lasts for nine months. Now, Leon knows that the kind-hearted Sadie is only a mask to hide her true nature. As he works and receives a phone, he knows that his ex-wife is becoming the subject of a private investigation from Hunter Malloy’s law firm.

Here, I guess Leon is not getting over his ex-wife, yet. After all, he confronts Hunter as soon as Hunter arrives. His attempts were fruitless because Hunter is not his attorney and he is not Hunter’s client.

This chapter of the Cheers to Comeuppance novel also lets me know that Annika doesn’t have a resource for private investigators, that’s why she chooses to have Hunter help her to hire one.

Cheers to Comeuppance Chapter 4

Chapter 4 of Cheers to Comeuppance doesn’t only become a continuing story after Chapter 3 that tells the story based on the POV of three characters: Annika, Sadie, and Jeff. Instead, we can learn many things from this chapter that helps to shed light on the whole story of this novel.

The chapter’s story opens up with Annika in her doctor mode. The six decades-old Mr. Galloway is her patient in this chapter of Cheers to Comeuppance. She works professionally by conducting diagnoses and prescribing medicines without knowing the old man’s identity and his wife’s.

The story continues by telling us the stories according to Sadie’s perspective. Here, we know that Annika’s patient was Sadie’s father. After Sadie parted ways with her parents to go to her room, she received a text from her bae, Jeff, that he can’t divorce Annika right away due to Annika’s reputation as the doctor.

Jeff’s part in this hot chapter of Cheers to Comeuppance explains more about his strategies for putting his soon-to-be ex-wife to a disadvantage.

We don’t only have glimpses of what Jeff is thinking about Annika and Sadie here. Instead, we also know that Jeff plans to force Annika to sign the penthouse ownership before the divorce statement. More cruelly, Jeff plans to play innocent by using fake photos to accuse Annika of infidelity.

Cheers to Comeuppance Chapter 6

Chapter 6 of Cheers to Comeuppance is where we learn Annika’s identities in more detailed ways. Annika’s maiden name is Silverton, which refers to the in-novel Rhode Island’s Silverton family who owns all construction businesses in the Northeast part of where Leon, Jorge, and everybody else live.

From here, we know Annika comes from a wealthy family, something that the rest of the Cheer To Comeuppance characters (including her soon-to-be ex-husband Jeffrey Hollands) don’t have. Furthermore, Annika graduated Summa Cum Laude from high school and obtained her medical degrees and licenses (including her Ph.D.) in only three years.

So, it’s not a surprise that Annika’s parents are against her marrying Jeff.

When I tie the whole relationship issues with the previous chapters in the Cheers to Comeuppance novel, particularly the two hot chapters, it becomes clearer to me that Jeff’s plans to divorce Annika have been developed since a long time ago, just so he can get ownership of the penthouse without having to do manual labors.
