Yun Che’s master, before he died, had thought Yun Che a lot about the craft of healing, so when he was being sought after for possessing the Sky Poison Pearl, he gave the pearl to Yun Che and asked him to run away with it. It was this object that Yun Che held while he ran away from the crowd of people pursuing him.
Seeing that he had been cornered to the edge of the rocky Cloud’s end cliff, and there was no way to escape his pursuers, Yun Che swallowed the Sky Poison Pearl, although, swallowing the sky poison pearl was not enough, as these pursuers were so desperate that they planned to cut Yun Che open and take the Sky Poison Pearl, so he deliberately fell off the rocky Cloud’s end cliff.
He would rather die than give the clan what they wanted. Not after they had killed his master.

He was an orphan boy who was found by a master who knew the art of healing because he possessed a sacred gem called the Sky Poison Pearl.
In fact, Yun Che was Against The Gods because before his master died, he gave him the Sky Poison Pearl, which was by all means a taboo to be found in the hands of just an ordinary citizen of the continent.
At the beginning of Against The Gods book, Yun Che was running away from a crowd that sought to kill him and take the Sky Poison Pearl from him, but he quickly swallowed it and fell from a cliff intentionally so that they would not have the Sky Poison Pearl, however, he woke up in another continent, using the power of the Sky Poison Pearl that he swallowed to heal Xiao Che, the poisoned boy whom he had just reincarnated into.

Xiao Ying, Xiao Che’s grandfather saved her life, and her father promised that as soon as she turned sixteen she would get married to Xiao Che.
This was the reason Xiao Qingyue and Xiao Che were about to get married, even though Xiao Che was no match for her.

Chapter 1
Against The Gods tells us in the first chapter, how Yun Che of the Azure Cloud Continent, died and reincarnated into Xiao Che of the Profound Sky Continent. His master had been killed and he was on the run with the Sky Poison Pearl, being chased by the righteous sect of the Azure Cloud Continent.
He was cornered and as a result of not wanting the righteous sect to take the Sky Poison Pearl, he swallowed it, fell off a cliff deliberately, died, and woke up at the Profound Sky Continent as Xiao Che.
Chapter 3
Another event that was Against the Gods and is noteworthy is Xiao Yulong. Xiao Yulong was the person that poisoned Xiao Che because he was unhappy that Xiao Che was going to marry Xia Qingyue. In chapter three of Against the Gods book, he was surprised to see Xiao Che alive and healthy, and about to attend his wedding, even though he pretended that he was not shocked to see Xiao Che alive.
