As a result, in His Angel novel, Angelica grows as a teenager who finds it difficult to accept loving acts, especially from strangers like Drake.
Meanwhile, Drake is currently a mafia boss with an identical past to Angelica, with the exception of that he lives with his beloved little sister, Bella. Soon, after Angelica “saved” Drake, the three of them become best friends… And Drake also starts to consider making Angelica “His Angel”.

Part 1: Meet The Awesome Characters Of His Angel Novel On Dreame
Angelica
Angelica is the teenage girl of whom Drake (and the novel’s readers, too) refers to as “His Angel” in this novel. She has lost her mother since she was a child, and since then, her father had gone stressed, drank excessively, and started to show his real abusive face.
Still, there are so many aspects in Angelica’s characteristics that makes her worthy to be referred to as “His Angel”. For instance, Angelica strives to choose kindness despite abuses that she has experienced. She even goes further in saving Drake, even though she finds it difficult to accept loving acts from strangers like him.
Drake
Being a man in his twenties doesn’t only make Drake of His Angel novel a legal-aged man. He is also one of the most feared mafia bosses in the novel. He has teams of hackers and others who are ready to conduct the missions, and nobody in the team would fear people because of their powers and positions.
Drake met Angelica a.k.a. His Angel for the first time when his Lamborghini was about to clash with Angelica’s body. Soon, he fell in love with her at a first glance, swore that he would make Angelica “His Angel”, brought Angelica to his residence, and introduced her to his little sister.
Part 2: The Immersive Romantic Story Of His Angel Novel
His Angel is a teen or YA romance fiction novel, in which the stories in the novel’s chapters are mostly focused on one MC’s POV per one chapter. For instance, Chapter 1 is all about Angelica’s life, while Chapter 2 tells us more portions of story based on Drake’s POV.
That way, we can see each MC’s ways of living their lives as we read the chapters in His Angel novel Dreame one by one. All chapters about Angelica and Drake’s POVs contain flashbacks that help us understand the trains of thoughts between the MCs in His Angel novel.
Everything sounds normal when we read the first few paragraphs in Chapter 1 of His Angel: The female MC (Angelica, that’s her name) wakes up, is about to take a shower, and wearing a pair of white jumper and blue jeans. Abuses from Angelica’s father add twists to her life stories. What’s more, is that, when she stumbles upon a Lamborghini.
His Angel Chapter 1 then shows the mysterious young adult man behind the Lamborghini that collides with Angelica. He is Drake; a mafia boss with strikingly-handsome face. It seems like he has a dark past like “His Angel” a.k.a. Angelica, and we get more glimpses of his dark sides in Chapter 2.
As we turn the pages to read more chapters of the novel, we know that Drake’s father also used to put so much pressures to his mentals, just like Angelica’s father’s ways of punishing his daughter. After reading this portion of story in His Angel novel Dreame, I get an impression that this neglection leads Drake to be a mafia boss since his youth.
Drake knows too well of bearing all of life’s hardest responsibilities on his own. The moment he collides with Angelica is also the moment he falls in love with her at a first sight. Since then, he swears to himself in making Angelica “His Angel”, as he brings her to his residence and introduces “His Angel” to his beloved little sister, Bella.
Part 3: Meet Cro Kpop, The Author Of His Angel Novel
“Cro Kpop” is the nickname that the author of His Angel uses to refer to herself in Dreame platform. When I look at the nickname, I’m pretty sure that Cro Kpop is a female author in her teenage or young adult years. After all, it’s pretty common for young adult females to fall in love with Kpop cultures.
We can see Cro Kpop’s love for everything “Korean” when we read the first three chapters of His Angel, a novel she publishes on Dreame platform. Drake’s “mafia boss” title appears to stay as a mere title, as well as his “straight-A-student” status. Reading His Angel by Cro Kpop feels like reading a K-drama novel version with the strong and silent guy type meeting an angelic female MC.
Like most urban young adult romance novels, Bella, the little sister character in His Angel novel, becomes the female MC’s best friend. As someone who has read some portions of the novel, I expect the two girls to have some character developments in the future.
Anyway, His Angel novel isn’t the only novel that Cro Kpop has published on Dreame platform. Her other novel includes a mafia guy as the MC — again, with vivid K-drama vibes in the chapters. Loving K-drama? So, reading Cro Kpop’s creations is a must for you!
