Vera’s adoptive brother in The Human In The Wolf Pack novel knows another male werewolf named Alpha Rider Blakely, the Alpha from the Black Moon pack, who despises weakling creatures like humans so much.
Alpha Rider Blakely is so unlike Ripley who loves his little human sister so much. He would take delight in the painful looks that Vera shows to him every time he intentionally triggers them. Some of Rider’s other favorite ways to mess around with Vera are mocking her running skills and constantly referring to Ripley’s loving ways as babying the humans.
Another shocking thing in The Human In The Wolf Pack novel is that the vulnerable human female Vera White is the mate of the strong and sadistic Alpha Rider Blakely… And both of them hate to face the reality. The rider simply can’t stand humans, and Vera has learned to despise the word “mate” since she was 11, the year when she discovered that she is a human being.
In the end, the questions are, how will Rider and Vera’s relationships turn out? Who will support or oppose their relationship growth?

Part 1: The Author Of The Human In The Wolf Pack
Royalybree is the pen name of the author of The Human In The Wolf Pack novel. In my opinion, Royalybree is one of the most amazing Dreame authors. I can say these things after reading the author’s bio because this author of The Human In The Wolf Pack has started writing since 15 years old.
Like any other successful writer, Royalybree as the author of The Human In The Wolf Pack novel has an active imagination that we can witness in the story elements of the novel. Royalybree admits in the author bio that one of their specialties is writing about the fantasy genre (“A lover of things that cannot be seen”), and werewolves are not an exception.
When I take such a quote into my consideration and relate the quote with The Human In The Wolf Pack novel, I have an impression that Royalybree positions the author as the main human female character in the novel.
The feelings that Vera has for herself and other characters in the book are so vividly explained that I start thinking that those feelings are what the author has experienced.
Anyways, The Human In The Wolf Pack is just one of the novels that Royalybree has written. It has a characteristic that is uniquely Royalybree, and that characteristic is the vivid character’s physical and emotional descriptions.

The Human In The Wolf Pack Chapter 1
Chapter 1 of The Human In The Wolf Pack novel is titled “Different”. True to the chapter’s title, this chapter of the book focuses on how different Vera White is compared to the werewolves in her pack, which is the Lightened Horizon pack.
She always falls behind everybody else in terms of her battle and running abilities. Ripley, her adoptive brother from the same pack, is always saving her… All of these things happen because she is not a werewolf. She is a human! And, yet, the werewolves become the only living beings around her.
Here, we also see glimpses of the hatred of humans from Alpha Rider, one of Ripley’s best friends. As I read the paragraphs in this chapter of The Human In The Wolf Pack, I start to think that Alpha Rider is the sadistic bully of the story. Who cares if Vera never became one of “us”?
The Human In The Wolf Pack Chapter 2
Royalybree as the author opens up the stories in Chapter 2 of The Human In The Wolf Pack by introducing us to another character in the novel. The character that the author introduces in this chapter is Rose, a she-wolf who is the best friend of Vera. Like any other female best friend, she tries to find the best fashion outfit for her best friend.
, Unlike any other werewolf-centered stories which involve a mating ceremony, the chapter’s story tells us about the Autumn Moon Festival. We can think about the festival as equal to the mating ceremony.
After all, it is also through reading this chapter of The Human In The Wolf Pack that we learn that Vera was envious of Rose when she hasn’t realized that she is just a human because Rose can have a mate.
In addition, the stories of this chapter also reveal Vera’s past. We get it that the Alpha and Luna of the Lightened Horizon pack treat little Vera as their daughter because Luna wanted a female child. Vera’s adoptive parents only began to reveal her true identity as a human once she reached 11 years old.
The Human In The Wolf Pack Chapter 3
I can see in Chapter 3 of The Human In The Wolf Pack that Ripley is a nice brother, and also the nicest Alpha in the story, to Vera, even though Ripley is “only” an adoptive brother of Vera. He asks Vera about how is she doing in human lives, including colleges and the boys around the colleges because he cares for his little sister.
We know from reading the stories of this chapter in The Human In The Wolf Pack novel that the Autumn Moon Festival will start at 6:30, which is a typical time setting for any humans or werewolf parties. So, Vera and Rose, her best friend, prepare everything to make sure they look drop-dead gorgeous at the festival.
One of the turning points in this chapter is when the hateful Rider will attend the party. I’m starting to wonder not only about his motives in attending the Autumn Moon Festival but also how well he messes up with the “weakling” human female, Vera White.
