Book Review: My Babies Father Is Alpha

My Babies Father Is Alpha tells us a story about Nora Morris, a heart surgeon who has a son and two daughters from her previously failed marriage with Carter West, an Alpha werewolf. The marriage failed even though the Moon Goddess chose Nora as Carter’s mate. It was because Carter preferred Mia, the half-wolf woman whom he had an affair with.

Nora is now taking care of her son and daughters with Leo, one of Carter’s best friends. Leo forms strong bonds with Nora and her children from Carter and Nora’s daughters agree to call him a daddy. Leo also has Beta Jax as his most powerful Beta, who happened to believe that Nora is his mate.

As the stories of My Babies Father Is Alpha unfold, we know that there are more other werewolves who fall in love with Nora.

It doesn’t matter if the My Babies Father Is Alpha novel is the first novel from AithorVJ. She is superb at describing the relationship dynamics between Nora, Leo, and Carter in non-complicated ways. It’s also the first time I read novels that involve werewolves as doctors.

Part 1: Meet The Characters Of My Babies Father Is Alpha

Nora Morris

Nora Morris (or Dr. Morris when she becomes a surgeon) is the main female character of My Babies Father Is Alpha. I guess, she’s somewhat like any other female character who is independent, yet prioritizes their feelings over logic (even though, as a surgeon, she can be both knowledgeable and logical!).

However, her sensitivity is special, because it’s not only a matter of being touchy-feely. She is an intuitive and empathic woman who can connect with her closest ones even before the communication parts.

Leo

Alpha Leo, another surgeon in the My Babies Father Is Alpha series, was a former friend of Carter until he knew how Carter behaved to his mate. As a result, he had to replace Carter’s role as the father to Nora’s three kids. Later on, he becomes determined in committing to Nora by calling her “my wife” in front of his Beta and Carter.

Carter West

Carter West is the Alpha werewolf who gave nightmares through Nora because of his actions. We know in the My Babies Father Is Alpha series that Carter had an affair with Mia, a hedonistic and materialistic woman, and rejected Nora as his mate. He continued to endanger Nora’s life, even after Nora has saved his life through her ability as a heart surgeon.

Part 2: Story Of My Babies Father Is Alpha

“The Nightmare” is the opening chapter’s name of the My Babies Father Is Alpha novel. True to the chapter’s name, this chapter is about Carter West’s rejection of Nora which brings nightmares to the rejected woman and traumatic experiences to the kids.

Alpha Leo, Carter’s former best friend, has to step in and take the father’s role. Nora’s daughters don’t mind calling him daddy, but the son knows Leo is not their real father. Just as the kids keep on wondering who is their actual daddy, Nora and Leo got a call from the hospital they worked in that there is a patient in an emergency room.

Later on, it turns out that the patient is Carter, Nora’s ex-lover. He lay on his hospital bed while many of his wolves and Mia, his lover, accompany him. Still, the two have to operate on the patient.

As we read the My Babies Father Is Alpha novel, we discover that Mia continues to spread lies that Nora Morris is already dead. Plus, Leo’s Beta Jax starts to fall in love with Nora, and Leo warns people not to mess around with “his wife”.

Have you been wondering how will Nora’s romance life turn out to be?

Part 3: Hot Chapters Of My Babies Father Is Alpha

My Babies Father Is AlphaChapter 5

We have a hint about the character that the author tries to present when we read the title “Old Friend” in Chapter 5 of My Babies Father Is Alpha. True to the chapter’s name, it’s all about Carter, and the author starts retelling the nightmare Nora has experienced in this chapter.

This time, the traumatic effects are more intense, because Nora’s frail condition before the surgery was complete made Leo shiver in fear. This chapter of My Babies Father Is Alpha also becomes a hot chapter for Mia’s annoying interruption scene that shows her personality, Beta Jax’s attraction to Nora, and Carter’s healing processes.

My Babies Father Is AlphaChapter 8

As we read Chapter 8 in My Babies Father Is Alpha, we learn that Mia is not only stealing Carter from Nora. She also lies to Nora that Nora, her long-time best friend, died several years ago.

I’m amazed that Nora has such composures when talking with her romantic foe. I get it that Nora intentionally doesn’t reveal herself, so she will know the nature of Mia. Another bonus point that makes Chapter 8 of My Babies Father Is Alpha amazing to read lies in Beta Jax’s bravery in approaching Nora amid the two Alphas: Carter and his Alpha, Leo.

Part 4: Meet The Author Of My Babies Father Is Alpha

AithorVJ is the author behind the My Babies Father Is Alpha novel. She belongs to Dreame’s list of “The Next Top Writer”. “Love yourself” appears to be her motto when we look at her “About Me” section in her profile.

At the same time, I get a sense that the tagline “Love yourself” for AithorVJ doesn’t stop as her living motto. Love and romance stories also become the specialties of this author, and the My Babies Father Is Alpha novel is not an exception.

When we see the lists of her published books, we know that AithorVJ can write romance stories for day-to-day life and also werewolf stories that involve romantic elements.

AithorVJ has participated in Dreame Love Story Contest. So, it’s no surprise that her stories have many visitors and followers. Until today, My Babies Father Is Alpha has got 125,783K reads, which is the highest amount of reading compared to other novels from the same author.

The red moon design of the My Babies Father Is Alpha novel is one of the most interesting elements. After all, it differentiates the novel from other AithorVJ novels that have lots of flower designs.
