“Beautiful transformation” is a phrase I use to describe the core story of The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife. This novel tells us a story about a woman named Sarah, who suffers from her husband’s abusive behavior.
Sarah disappears from Lucas, her husband, after three years of their extremely unhappy marriage. Yet, Lucas is unaware of Sarah’s true celebrity identity.
So, how will Lucas introduce himself to Sarah and convince her about his changes?

Part 1: The Story Of The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife Novel
The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife is about Sarah, a young woman who thought she had the best luck marrying Lucas Stanton. Alice Stanton, the most prominent businesswoman in New York, is Lucas Stanton’s granddaughter who arranged for her marriage.
Sarah is not powerless, either. Even though she’s a woman, “the First Lady of Business” is her nickname. After all, Sarah’s business acumen is on par with Augustus DaLair, Richard Prescott, and Emerson Carlisle.
Having such a financially capable background also means Sarah can evaluate Alice’s marriage offerings in exchange for the company’s share. You can imagine Sarah’s happiness when the priest monotonously said the wedding vows and Lucas kissed her blushing cheek.
Since the marriage between Lucas and Sarah in The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife is an arranged marriage, Lucas starts to show his true face after they say the sacred wedding vows. Lucas becomes physically aggressive, blatantly ignores Sarah’s boundaries, and uses many excuses to hide Sarah from the public, especially from his mistress.
Sarah figured out about Lucas cheating with Madeline when he was drunk and having intercourse with her. So, Sarah completely disappeared from Lucas’ sight. She made sure that her ex-husband knew nothing about her true identity.
In The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife novel, Sarah’s true identity is a famous book author named Rosemary Thompson. It’s just a matter of time for Lucas to take proper actions that won’t harm Sarah, who has been free from his claws.
Therefore, a question arises after reading The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife: Will Lucas change, or will he continue to disturb Sarah’s life?

Part 2: Meet The Characters Of The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife
Sarah (Pen Name: Rosemary Thompson)
I see Sarah, The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife, as slightly different than other stereotypical female MCs. Yes, she calls upon an attorney’s help in divorcing her husband. Yet, her attempts to disguise her true identity as Rosemary Thompson, a well-known novel author, are surprising and brilliant for me.
In The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife, Sarah is not just a woman growing up in a wealthy household. She’s also a tech-focused woman, and writing is a job that requires some technical capabilities. I guess that’s what makes Sarah an awesome female MC!
Lucas Stanton
Having Stanton as his last name and his gender status as a male means Lucas Stanton of The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife novel is one of the book’s most important characters. He’s generally an obedient grandson of Alice Stanton, but only to his highly influential grandma.
For me, Lucas is one of the most cowardly male MCs I’ve ever known. Most of his abuses are through mocking and humiliating Sarah. Some scenes in the novel’s chapters also prove his love for gossip. On top of all, he gossips with women. I hope this guy will disappear forever from Sarah’s life!
Madeline “Maddie” Rogers
A mistress’ presence in any romance novel tends to be emotionally stirring, and Madeline’s appearance is no exception. From the chapters in The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife book, I think of Madeline as a character who can persuade others to side with her.
First, Madeline is a childhood friend of Lucas’ sister. Second, she is one of Lucas’ secretaries who always compliments him and appreciates his efforts. I’m sure that Madeline uses her position to overthrow Sarah. She does nothing as a secretary, except to hide her true manipulative face.
Part 3: Some Analysis Of The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife Novel
“Royal romance” is a category I will put this book under, mainly because many story elements here align with the upper classes’ lives. An arranged marriage between two wealthy people with some percentages of the company’s assets and deliberate wedding plans are some elements we see in earlier chapters of The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife.
Sarah’s background in The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife is one of the most intriguing backstories you should follow. Unlike any other female MCs who are just as independent as the author mentions them, Sarah is a financially capable and independent woman. We can see it from her backstories since the introductory chapters.
I love how E.T. Watson, the author of The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife, pictures Sarah as a successful novel author instead of classical high-ranking positions, such as doctors, CEOs, and others. Hence, I would say that this novel is one of the most inspiring novels that let readers know that we can make a living as novel authors, as long as we’ve worked hard enough.
The author also makes the novel author’s job look livelier and more promising by adding a pen name element in this book. Sarah’s proficiency in using tech devices and her love for anything techie also contribute to her success in her career. Unfortunately, too much closeness to tech devices makes Sarah somehow feel clueless about her marriage life.
Another highlight I see in The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife is about Madeline a.k.a. Maddie, Lucas’ mistress. Madeline’s plays are more covert compared to the average mistress characters. Yet, it doesn’t mean she doesn’t use her manipulative sides to make Lucas side with her. I can see Lucas is nothing but a loser without Madeline. No wonder Lucas “depends” on her so much.
Madeline is unlike the career-focused Sarah: She is supportive despite also having an undeniably manipulative face. So, The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife is a wake-up call for readers like me to awaken our feminine side to encourage men to be selfless for us.
Part 4: Highly-Recommended To Read The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife On Dreame
Do you wish your collections of romance novels don’t only consist of lovey-dovey gestures from all MCs? Does your wish include a romance novel with two equally wealthy MCs? Then, reading The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife is something you should do as soon as you browse the Dreame platform!
The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife also has several unique scenes inside the novel. For instance, the family ties between the Stantons have been evident since the first few chapters. Such environments permit readers to see another shocking part of Lucas’ personality: A gossiper. Plus, he’s good with his female family members and he’s an obedient boy.
Some other unique scenes also exist in The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife, such as the scenes in office settings. Tailor Reeve, Sarah’s attorney, comes to Lucas’ office to make him sign the divorce paper. The procedures involving Lucas’ other secretary, Tailor’s debates with the Judge, and the final decision in freeing Sarah’s marriage status, are some of the scenes in this novel that you shouldn’t miss out on.
Since Sarah, the female MC of this novel, is an author, you will also see several “What if my characters were in my shoes?” moments when you read The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife on Dreame. So, what are you waiting for?
