The Princess Slave follows the love-and-hate relationship between Princess Violette and King Viktor which starts with a quest for revenge.
Violette is the princess of werewolves who were constantly tortured by her father, King Arthur after losing her mother. However, her father’s harsh treatment didn’t change Violette’s kind heart.
She was kind and caring. Being the princess, one day she would rise to become one of the best queens the werewolves could ever have.
Violette after losing her mother and facing her father’s awful treatment just wanted to find her fated mate and live a simple life filled with joy. But her hopes came crashing down when she gets captured by King Viktor.
King Viktor was seeking revenge against the man who murdered his family and kept him hostage for two years until he escaped and vowed to make all of them who did him wrong pay the worst price.
So the hurt and abused Prince turned himself into one of the ruthless king Viktor who along with himself stormed to his enemy’s palace having an idea of how to set the scores of revenge and unjust.

Violette loses her mother and starts to get her father’s awful treatment. Yet she doesn’t lose hope or lose herself even though life gets tough. She hopes to find her fated mate and find her happiness.
But for Violette, her hopes turn false when she gets kidnapped by the enemy. And falling for your kidnapper who has turned you into his slave is forbidden, right? But for Violette, love comes complicated.
King Viktor, has lost his whole family who got brutally killed by Arthur, the king of werewolves. Not only that but he also got cursed that he can’t feel the mate bond or have his fated mate seek him.
Viktor is looking for his fated mate. After years of torture, he sets out his revenge plan against Arthur. But instead of kidnapping Arthur, he kidnaps Arthur’s only daughter Violette.

The Princess Slave had me hooked for its enemies-to-lovers trope as it all starts with a revenge plan. I enjoyed the mystery surrounding the mate bond, the curse from Arthur which affected Viktor by having his mate hidden.
The suspense had me biting my nails, I was so invested in the story that I was feeling each emotion the author portrayed.
If you love a good cheesy romance with some steamy content and a strong Storyline with perfect suspense and thrills then I would highly recommend The Princess Slave.
