Teague O’Malley hated everything about his family, he can’t wait to get out of the seething family which he despises. He hates everything about his life. But when his father orders him to marry Callista to create a business alliance Teague is ready to leave everything behind.
But then Teague meets Callista aka his new fiance picked by his father. Teague is intrigued seeing her, especially her big blue eyes and the bruises left on her neck.

Teague O’Malley, the first time when we meet him it’s evident that he wants nothing to do with his mafia family who is running Boston. We see how driven he is to get out with his siblings craving for something normal life and that’s what I liked about Teague.
But when he meets Callie, the heir of the Sheridan family who is also part of the mafia in Boston he changes his mind. It’s hot, Possessive and I loved how he wants to protect Callie.
The hottest trait of Teague is how he communicated his feelings, his needs, and his demands, and oh yeah, he is the reason I couldn’t put this book down. I was so into him and everything about this man who I couldn’t place between a hero or an anti-hero title.
Callista Sheridan aka Callie, she’s the character who left me curious, and suspicious. She’s strong being the heir to the family she wants to do everything her father asks her to do.
But she’s not a shiny princess. She’s grieving, theirs is a mischief, a hidden truth, a quest for revenge burning in her eyes. She was one strong female lead who was crushed in the world of the mafia which was filled with pain, violence, and destruction like losing her brother.

The author does a brilliant job by tearing us into the world of the mafia featuring these powerful enemies. With suspense and conflicts, there’s this hot romance between Teague and Callie who were forced into The Marriage Contract by their fathers.
Teague is not your usual mafia boss character, he’s different he hates the family he comes from and wants to leave. Then he meets Callie, he wants to protect her.
Callie’s life is tough, she holds dark secrets her character development goes with the story which leaves us stunned and curious. But I enjoyed Teague and Callie.
I loved how they found each other, their chemistry was hot I was rooting for them. Katee Robert made us sweat through her sex scenes which she didn’t shy away from
