Free Chapters from You Rejected Me. Remember?

True to the novel’s title, You Rejected Me Remember is all about the rejection topic. More precisely, it follows a story about Cassandra “Cassy” Williams, a human female who is rejected by her mate, Miles Walter, the future Alpha of the Dark Howl pack, on her fifteenth birthday. Miles can’t seem to stop throwing disgusted faces at her.

It’s because Miles wants a she-wolf to be his Luna. Miles’ rejection impacts Cassy so that she thinks of ending her life. After all, the rejection and Miles’ ways of forcing Cassy to accept his rejection open up Cassy’s childhood memories of thinking that she was a werewolf, as well as her seemingly endless questions about why is she different from other wolves.

As I read through the chapters of You Rejected Me Remember, I see that Cassy’s conditions are near death because she jumps from the cliff. She also struggles to open up her eyes after feeling terrible headaches, even though she finally regains consciousness. When she opens up her eyes, she is surprised to learn about her true identity as a Lycan princess.

Will Miles realize his faults to reject a Lycan princess? What will both of the main characters from You Rejected Me Remember to get?

Part 1: The Author Of You Rejected Me Remember

Z.Ali is the author’s name of the You Rejected Me Remember novel. It doesn’t matter if we’re not sure whether Z. Ali is the author’s name or a pen name. One thing for sure about the author of You Rejected Me Remember is that the author is one of Dreame’s Next Top Writers.

Such titles are not without any reason. After all, Z. Ali has consistently shown the skills in “giving lives” to the characters, storylines, and other elements in all of the novels. Z. Ali is unlike any other authors who specialize in werewolf stories.

Instead, it seems to me that every character in Z. Ali’s novels has a uniqueness that we don’t typically find in other similar novels.

Take You Rejected Me Remember as an example. Cassandra is a typical name for the main heroine in werewolf-themed stories, and she indeed was introduced to the audience as the werewolf. However, the plot twist in You Rejected Me Remember happens after a couple of paragraphs of the opening chapters.

We learn in those chapters that Cassandra (or Cassy) is a human, and she is separated from her real parents.

More plot twists of the stories in You Rejected Me Remember include Cassy’s identity which turns out to be a princess. Having had such plot twists, it’s not a surprise for me to see more than 2.1 million reads for the You Rejected Me Remember novel, and also more than three million followers in Z. Ali’s bio on the Dreame platform.

Part 2: Free Chapters From You Rejected Me Remember

You Rejected Me Remember Chapter 2

Chapter 2 of You Rejected Me Remember tells the story based on Miles’ POV. The chapter opens up by telling us all about Miles’ ways to approach romantic relationships. Here, we discover that he doesn’t hate weaker and lower-ranked werewolves for the sake of hatred itself. Instead, it’s because he loves it if his Luna is as physically strong as his mother.

I also see parts of Miles’ memories in You Rejected Me Remember when he realized that Cassandra is a human. So, he doesn’t doubt that Cassandra always has her “family” to protect her every time of rogue attacks. Yet, he can’t stop but feels disgusted to know that Cassandra, a mere human who knows nothing about werewolf’s mating processes, is his mate.

However, he starts feeling bad because he has made Cassandra cry. It happened after his encounters with Nolan, someone whom Cassy regards as her brother. The two continue to seek Cassy, and Miles discovers that Cassy’s smells of roses are nearing the cliffs.

You Rejected Me Remember Chapter 4

To me, Chapter 4 of You Rejected Me Remember is not only clearer in telling the storylines than the previous chapter, which is Chapter 3, that I have no idea who is the “Narrator” that the author means. However, this chapter becomes one of the worthiest-to-read chapters of You Rejected Me Remember for many reasons.

First, it’s the opening of Chapter 4 of You Rejected Me Remember that captivates my attention. Cassy eventually regains her consciousness, which is a rare case for stories in real and fantasy worlds that involve suicidal attempts. Not stopping there, she also begins to recollect her memories, particularly the times when she believed she was a werewolf.

Second, this chapter is also the chapter where we learn Cassandra’s true identity as a Lycan princess. No wonder that the first “angel” she sees after regaining her consciousness is a royal healer who also knows her parents. In addition, this chapter is also where Cassandra (or Princess Carina) speaks to her real parents for the first time.

You Rejected Me Remember Chapter 5

In Chapter 5 of the You Rejected Me Remember novel, we learn more in-depth about Cassandra’s true identity, as well as her parents. It turns out that she is not just Princess Carina, but also Princess Carina the pure-blooded Lycan.

Since Cassandra a.k.a Princess Carina is a pure-blooded Lycan, her real father (whose name is Richard) is the Alpha King of all Alpha Kings. Everybody else can hear him roaring whenever he’s mad, and hearing Alpha Lycan King going mad will be the last thing that all other characters in werewolf-verses want to face.

Princess Carina’s mother also explains the nature of the reality that her daughter faces. Here, in this chapter, we also know that Lycans are as human-like as possible before they turn 18. They can grow up later than their werewolf counterparts, which signifies their royal superiority against werewolves.

So, it explains why Cassandra looks and smells like a human female to Miles and other werewolves in the previous chapters of You Rejected Me Remember.
